Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

We are seeing lots of Rhododendrons blooming~



In our backyard, mom's favorite flower is blooming!
And then there were four blooms!
Over to the right of the Poppies,  the dark Columbine is flowering~
Another Iris in our backyard opened up~

  1. Duke you have a green paw and your mom has a green thumb! I only see poppies rarely anymore. So many younger people don't even buy potted flowers. I miss seeing all the colors so thank you for showing everything you have.

  2. The wild poppies have been absolutely amazing in France this year, and now lovely harebells are blooming all over the fields!

  8. Lulu: "Our Dada says that when they used to take the Taconic Parkway down to Long Island at certain times of year, they would drive through basically a forest of rhododendron in bloom! Everyone thought he was nuts for going that way instead of taking the Thruway but it sounds like a solid decision to me ..."
