We are joining Rosy and Sunny for Nature Friday!!
We are seeing lots and lots of Clematis! We are so excited to see that Farmer Will has finally planted in the field near our house. We know the farmers are having a very hard time this year. Hopefully, things will be better for them for next years' planting season. These are tomato plants and it's raining now so they are getting a nice refreshing drink! As we turned onto our street, a lady up ahead of us was walking her Golden Retriever. We have never seen her before and her dog clearly wanted to meet me and didn't seem to want to budge until he did. She asked us to please head down another street so she could walk her dog home. Mom told her that we live just ahead of where she was standing but she wasn't taking no for an answer so we turned down another street. Stoopid woman. Why couldn't I say Hi to her very handsome dog!Happy Friday!Love ya lots♥
Duke

Duke of course we love seeing all the flowers. Sounds like the woman was the unfriendly kind but the doggy would have been a good friend if you could have gotten a chance to visit.

ReplyDeleteYour mum showed some restraint... I rather think I might have been having 87 words with that wummin! Anyway, focus on those glorious Clematis.... and breathe... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Our mom would tell her to walk down another street or just stay on the other side of the street. Some people have no idea about dogs, dog etiquette, and things like that. Too bad you couldn't make a new friend.
ReplyDeletethat is super beautiful... we love your bandana and we love clematis..
ReplyDeleteAnother pretty walkabout ... poor pup, he might have wanted a little meet 'n' greet but for his cranky human, sigh. BTW, your Starry-Scarf is so just right for the holidays to come, Duke, ever the stylish guy!
ReplyDeleteMama loves clematis, and the way they climb..what a silly woman, some humans just don't get it!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy & Sunny
You sure found lots of pretty Clematis on your walk, Duke. Why didn't the lady and her dog turn around so you could walk home? How rude of her.
ReplyDeleteThis post is overflowing with incredible pictures of WOWZERS!
ReplyDeleteOf course, as nice as the Nature Shots are, we LOVE all things DUKE!
Sorry to see we'll be icking along with you - for once, Mom will miss her too cold GKP Office :-)

Willow
Duke I send all the plants lots of good wishes for a growing season. I do love fresh tomatoes
ReplyDeleteWHAT THE HECK that lady thought she owned the street. She must not know that her K9 (and obviously her) needed to be socialized. Geeez I'm stunned.
Oh and added this to my post today Troy T. Turtle is garden art but Connor Chippie is real
Hugs Cecillia
