Timber Frame Saturday

Mom and dad have been TOO busy and we've spent lots of time gated out of the kitchen as  helper peeps come in and out of our house carrying foodables in or taking them out to the workshop.   We actually at one point did get to go out and meet the new students who were timber framing in the barn, but mom was too busy to follow us out to get pictures.
They are all doing a great job!

This is dad's teaching table inside his workshop.
We've told you that mom and dad are timber framing and making pegs and several of you have asked if we're having another barn raising.   The answer is yes.    These women are helping to plan the menu for the barn raising for Miss Brenda, who is at your far right. The barn raising will be in September in Maine.
The actual tour of barns isn't officially until tomorrow but D and M were kind enough to invite us into their beautiful barn home today.   This project goes back a LONG way for our dad.  It's a restoration that happened in the summer of 1988.
D is a fabulous gardener!   It is only April and his gardens looks wonderful!   Mom says she can't wait to take a peek in a month or so and see what D has done.
Mom says there are no weeds ever in his gardens!  Everything is beautifully manicured!

What a treat to be able to see their adorable place.   Thank you so very much D and M!
So until next time.............

Love ya lots♥

Looks like the peeps are having a good time. Too bad they are keeping you away from the foodables.

You guys live in a cool place! My mom and dad really wish they had a timber frame home. I only care about comfy furniture is in the home, not how it's built. :)

Looks like a fun and busy weekend for them. When do you get a fun weekend for YOU? Maybe you could invite your friends over for a timber play yard raising :)

love, Behr Behr

Glad it is all going well and that barn looks fabulous. Sorry you get locked away but maybe it is safer that way. Have a serene Sunday and let us all partake of some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
