I'm a Graduate

I graduated from puppy kindergarten on Thursday!
We did puppy push-ups and I did 5 sit-down, sit-down,sit-down's in 20 seconds.  I did the most in that amount of time!  I won!

We also had to run the puppy agility course and I did the 3 rings perfectly and then jumped through the red, white and blue tire perfectly and did the tunnel just fine but the tunnel was so much fun that I decided that I wanted to go back again two more times.  OOPS!
Mom had quite the time getting me on the red sitting platform. I was sure there were more treats in the tunnel and I wanted to go back and check a third time.
Mom and I accepted my diploma and I got a purple bear for a gift.
I also got a SmartBone gift from my doggie school.
I worked hard for this, Mitch.  I'm not sure I want to share.
I've decided.  I do NOT want to share!
Dad says that we're going out for ice cream to celebrate.
We're ready, dad!
So until next time..........

Please Help Sunshade

Elaine and Sunshade  introduced us to the blogging world and they are two of our dearest and most special friends.   If it wasn't for Elaine's help, our angel Maggie would have gone to Rainbow Bridge much sooner than she did.

This was written by our friend, Linda:

"Last week as most of you know, Elaine's Sunshade's spleen ruptured and only a few miracles strung together saved her long enough to get to the ER vet in time to operate. She is recovering at home today, thank all the doG Protecting Spirits! What is left is a humongous bill--probably about $7,000. We are hoping that for all of you who have enjoyed Sunshade's videos with the Guinea Pigs and Jaffa--including the grooming tutorials, and have benefited from Elaine's homeopathic treatments, would be willing make a contribution. Don't worry about the amount. Everyone, no matter how much they give, always wishes it could be more. Whatever is received is very much needed and will be gratefully used....Elaine would never have asked so we are doing it for her."

This is the "Give" link:

Any amount would help our bestest friend.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our Airedale hearts~

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly

Purple and orange together in our garden~

The Special Penny

On Saturday morning, mom and I ran an errand together  and as we were returning to our car, we glanced down and there was a pretty shiny penny right at our feet.
Mom picked it up and put it in her pocket for good luck.
A day later, she remembered the penny and took it out of her pocket to look at the issue year.   The year on the penny is 1998 - the year that angel Maggie was born!
I know for sure now that angel Maggie arranged and approves of me living with my new family.  There is no doubt in my mind!
Thank you, angel Maggie.  I can tell you that there isn't a day that goes by that your name isn't mentioned with love and smiles and even a tear!
I gotta find the perfect spot for my special penny!

Bring Your Dog To Work Day

Yesterday was bring your dog to work day and that's exactly what mom and dad did - a real surprise, huh!
It has been hot here for the past 3 days so we took a break from shingling the roof and we headed over to Crumpie's to start on another cupola.    Dad has one that he needs to build before the end of September.

I'll take charge of that, Molly.
No, I want it!
I'll take it!
No, I want it!
So we both carried the double tennis bone.
We can never seem to agree on anything these days!

I sure hope you never learn to climb stairs, Molly.  I need a break from you every once in awhile!
 Snack time~
Dad brought a huge fan over and opened all of the doors and windows and it was okay for us to play and not over-heat!
Thanks for always bringing us to work with you!  It's fun!

So until next time........

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

You're probably wondering why I'm showing you a picture of an empty bucket.  This is the duck food bucket.
If mom's camera wasn't so slow, you would have seen the cute little mousey in there!  He was after the crumbs.
Can you see his tail hanging out of my mouth?  I'm the best mouser you will ever meet.  I will put any kitty to shame!
No dad, I don't have anything in my mouth - honest!
Dad stole my mouse but not before I got him all slimy and gooey and gookey.
Mom really wanted to introduce Molly to a mouse but the ding-a-ling showed him to me first.  Molly never saw the mouse.
OOPS - sorry, Molly.
The next one will be yours, okay?!

So until next time..............

International Box Day

We're joining Phantom, Thunder, Ciara and Lightning for International Box Day today.
Hurry up and stand that box upright so we can close the lid and tape it shut!
Does anybody out there want or need a fiesty bitey and sometimes sweet AireSissy?
I guess you're really not so bad. You can stay!

Hey, guess what?  Mom just realized that today is the 18th and not the 19th.   We posted this a day before we were supposed too!  OOPS!

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly

Happy Father's Day

Our dad is the hardest working dad ever.    He won't be taking it easy today.  He'll be up on the barn roof plugging away so that he can go for a ride on his Indian Chief later on.

Thank you for always sharing your yogurt with me, dad.
And thank you for always sharing the lid with extra yogurt on it with me, dad!
Mitchy told me that you were the bestest daddy in the whole wide world and Mitchy was right!
I'm so happy to be a part of this family!

Happy Father's Day, dad!
We love you!

A Roof Update

Our roof is coming along.  Dad has been on the roof pretty much all by himself.
Mom's job is on the ground. She's cutting shingles to a specific size - what dad calls starters shingles.
We're busy with stuffed bones while we supervise.
And we take breaks for biteyface.

And occasionally, I steal Molly frozen washcloth that she uses for her teething toofers.   She barks at me and gives me away, which makes mom stop what she's going and notice that I'm a thief.   Tattletail!

Dad said that we're the best supervisors ever. We're off to Durham for ice cream!
So until next time............

Love ya lots,
Molly and Mitch

True Colors Thursday - Red Hearts

Our challenge this week for True Colors was to find red hearts!

My rabies tag is a red heart!
Our red heart vase~
This is a painting of our angel Maggie done in 2007 by our artist friend, Miss Barbara.    It has lacy red hearts on it.
Another red heart~
This mug is hard to drink out of because it doesn't have a hole in its handle.
See you all next Thursday.

Mr Chewy Was Here

Mom told us that Mr Chewy was coming to our house today.  Guess what?  Mom wasn't fibbing. He really did come!
I've never had Fromm before.  I can't wait to see how I love it!
Mom says that Fromm makes puppy kibble too, Molly.
I got training treats for my puppy kindergarten class!
Mom placed her order and it was delivered so quickly!
We'll be seeing you again in the near future, Mr Chewy!

Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
