Flower Friday

We are joining puppy Rosy for Flower Friday.  Welcome to Blogville, Rosy☺   You are going to love it here!

We haven't been on this neighborhood walk in a couple of months thanks to all of the nasty blackflies that swarmed our heads in the summer months  Thankfully, they are gone for the year!
We found roses for Rosy that are still blooming~
 Happy Autumn to you too☺
The most cheerful flowers are yellow!
 And Zinnias~~

Uncle Tom decorated his porch windows~

Today is also World Heart Day☺

PIZZA

Mom had lunch with her friend, Miss Laurie, one day last week.
Look what she brought home!
I know what's inside tastes a lot better than the box!
Please hurry so I can have my share too, mom!
 Yes, please~

Will you be having lunch with Miss Laurie again soon?
And when mom came home, there was a box waiting for her in our mudroom.   She just LOVES pumpkins!
What a great day☺

Flower Friday

This is a very special Flower Friday.     These flowers are at Mackie's house in his gardens so we didn't need to go walking to find them☺
 The Phlox is still blooming~~

 And so is the Hydrangea!
We found Mums near the basement door~
The Butterfly Bush was sooooooo fragrant!
Mom just LOVES the Beauty Berries♥
 And the Asters are blooming~
And Queen Anne's Lace is flowering here and there~
 And so is the Goldenrod~
Mom always weeded the perennial Sweet peas out.   Dad doesn't have time for weeding so it was a treat to find this☺
Happy Friday and happy first day of Autumn☺

The Stare Down

A couple of days ago, Mom let me out in my yard to do my business.   Normally, she follows right along behind me but this time, she didn't.  The realtor had been here with lookers and they hadn't latched my gate so mom went to go and latch it.
Once she did that, she was on her way to find me so she can make sure that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing.
She came around the corner and there I am nose to nose in a stare down with a HUGE fat woodchuck!  Obviously, mom didn't have her camera so you will just have to believe us.  The only difference is that this picture needs to be reversed.   The woodchuck's back is next to the chain link fence and I'm staring him down from the opposite direction.
The woodchuck lives underneath that shed that's on the other side of the fence behind me.    Uncle Tom feeds him, so there is no way he's leaving.   Heck, would you?
So here we are - me and the woodchuck - eye to eye.
Mom SCREAMED for me to "COME" and of course, I ignored her.
I think all of her frantic commotion scared the woodchuck worse than I scared him.   He turned and SQUEEZED himself underneath the chain link gate that separates Uncle Tom's yard and my yard.   Mom and I stood there in awe.  We have no clue how he got his fat porky little body underneath the gate.    There is only 2 inches clearance.   He had to have scraped his belly up and gored his back pretty good but we didn't see any damage on him.    He just ran for the cover of his hole underneath the shed!
How did he ever get under there?!
And don't come back - EVER!
I scared him away mom!  It was all my doing!
You're superduper proud of me, right!
Mom is so relieved that neither one of us got hurt.
That will teach you to follow me when you let me out from now on, mom - at least until the snow flies!

Carnivore Crunch

I love it when the FedEx man puts Chewy boxes on our outside porch.  I always hear his truck coming down the street and I race down the stairs to let mom know that he's brought me something wonderful!
This month, he brought us Stella and Chewy's Carnivore Crunch in chicken flavor!
Mackie doesn't get to review Chewy treats at his house so you know how happy he is to be here with us☺
This chicken Carnivore Crunch is fabulous!  It smells better than wonderful (even mom thinks so).  It's made with cage-free chicken and no artificial anythings go into this Stella and Chewy package!  It's only pure ingredients and rich in protein AND it's less than 3 calories per morsel so that means that we can eats LOTS!  And mom says that the package is supereasy to open and really locks in the freshness!

Enough talk, mom.   Time to open that package and share!
At 3 calories a morsel, we are waiting for more, mom!
We not only had the Carnivore Crunch as a treat but mom put it on our dindin~
Thank you so much, Miss Natalie and the Chewy Influencers for letting us taste test this AWESOME treat!

Oh and by the way. Mackie got a new Go Dog toy from Chewy.   It practically GLOWS in the dark☺   Mackie LOVES his Go Dog babies~~

He never hurts them in any way.  He just sucks them to death☺
