Thanksgiving Friday

Our Thanksgiving wasn't celebrated yesterday but it is happening today!   Yesterday, mom made the cranberry sauce~

She made the stuffed celery.    Licking the cream cheese wrapper is my kind of fun!
Everyone who reads my blog knows how much I love celery!
My hooman sissy requested that mom bring cranberry sauce and stuffed celery and they are ready to go.
Thanksgiving is never complete without pumpkin pie.   I got to taste test the pumpkin right out of the can.
I also got my very own small crustless piece.
Sadly, I will be spending the afternoon alone with my bone and hoping that mom brings home leftovers!
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Tuesday Thinking

These are apple leaves that mom raked yesterday.   Last week was a bust for raking.  It was way too windy and cold.   This week is more mild and less breezy.

This coming Thursday, Mitch would have been sixteen years old.   He sure loved apples♥
How we miss him♥
We sure did have fun times together, didn't we, Mitch♥
Love ya lots and lots♥

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

Maggie is one of my favorite friends.  She's almost 15 years old and she is just the sweetest!  Sorry the picture is blurry.   I get kind of excited when we meet up.

We found a periwinkle flower in bloom!
We discovered wild Asters next to this neighbor's mail box.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy again this week for Nature Friday~~

Nope, not looking, mom.

In our garden, the Foxglove is still blooming away!
The Lavender doesn't want to quit!
Miss RubyButterfly Bush is still going strong~
The peeps next door let their chickens into their fenced in garden to free range.   The chickens love it but it makes us nervous if they leave their home for work and leave the chickens out.   Mom was raking the other day and she spotted a bobcat right behind Landlord Bob's pick up truck.   How bold is that!   Mr Bobcat would have no problems climbing the posts and scaling that fence.     Please be safe, little chickens.
I don't feel like smiling today, mom~
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥
