They are all doing a great job!
This is dad's teaching table inside his workshop.
We've told you that mom and dad are timber framing and making pegs and several of you have asked if we're having another barn raising. The answer is yes. These women are helping to plan the menu for the barn raising for Miss Brenda, who is at your far right. The barn raising will be in September in Maine.
The actual tour of barns isn't officially until tomorrow but D and M were kind enough to invite us into their beautiful barn home today. This project goes back a LONG way for our dad. It's a restoration that happened in the summer of 1988.
Mom says there are no weeds ever in his gardens! Everything is beautifully manicured!
What a treat to be able to see their adorable place. Thank you so very much D and M!
So until next time.............
Love ya lots♥

ReplyDeleteYou guys live in a cool place! My mom and dad really wish they had a timber frame home. I only care about comfy furniture is in the home, not how it's built. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun and busy weekend for them. When do you get a fun weekend for YOU? Maybe you could invite your friends over for a timber play yard raising :)
