My sissy gave mom a Christmas gift that she had to put away and wait for a later date to enjoy.
On Saturday, mom opened the box and got the directions out. The first thing she had to do was to soak all of the seeds in warm water overnight. The booklet said that soaking the seeds would increase their chances of germination. We can't wait till more seeds germinate!

We are joining Rosy this week for a very special Nature Friday~
First of all, we need to thank each and every one of you for all the the wonderful thoughts and POTP and healing vibes for my ankle and paw. I feel great and the limpies are history! My vet called yesterday and the test did come back Lyme positive. He told mom that I must rest for 7-10 days and sadly for me, mom is a rule follower so no walkies yet and mom won't walk without me so these flowers are in our yard.
And bestest of all is that more gorgeous Daffies are blooming and this bunch is for a very special lady. Happy Birthday, Marg! We hope you have the most wonderful day♥

We are joining Phenny and Nelly again for In Purrsuit of Flavors. The month of April will feature youthful yummies.
Easter is one of my favorite times of the year for baking special treats that my Nonna used to make. One of her specialties at Easter was her ham pie also known as Pizzagaina, but I don't ever remember hearing Nonna call it that.
The ingredients are 2 fully cooked ham slices, a deli-package of salami, one entire "basket" of basket cheese, one pound of ricotta, 5 eggs, salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and this year, mom added a small amount of sharp provolone because she had it on hand.
Yes, of course, Molly got a small taste☺
Thank you for choosing yummy treats, Phenny and Nelly. Mom has wonderful memories of spending time with her grandparents on her dad's side. How we wish we could have another Easter with all of them squished around Nonna's dining room table with literally no elbow room. It was the most wonderful time of my life♥

Sue with Molly
Saturday, mom and I went for our morning walk and the day went downhill from there. She was puzzling and I was chewing at my foot, which she didn't know anything about until she caught me limping moving from the bedroom to our living room. I have been known to chew my foot raw too many times before and mom puffs an antibiotic powder that was prescribed by the vet into the foot and she puts a sock on me and in a few days, I'm good to go. This time was not the same. My raw foot got better but the limping did not. It actually got worse and more painful to the point that I could barely walk.
Mom and I are both so thankful that I am feeling so much more like myself.
