Terrific Tuesday

A few days ago when the temps were cooler and more autumn-like, I was out in my backyard having lots of fun on my lunge line☺

I'm forever snacking on stuffs that I'm not supposed to be eating and I was trying to clean the dirt and grass that was on my tongue.  For some reason, it tickles mom to see me doing this and she's forever asking me to "do it again, Molly".
I see our friend walking with her stroller and twinsies!
There she goes!
What a beautiful day it was to just hang out and enjoy~
Have a terrific Tuesday, everybuddy!

A Honey Crisp of a Day

Mackie is hanging out with us today and he gets to share a honey crisp apple with me.

They are so yummy!
Mackie sniffed it at first to make sure mom wasn't trying to poison him☺     He likes apples as much as I do!
Wouldn't you rather play ball with me, Mackie?!

Have a sensational Saturday, everybuddy!

Nature Friday

We are joining the LLB Gang this week for Nature Friday.

Off we go~

We found this owl hanging out in front of Miss Laura's house~
This somersaulting frog was on her stone wall too.   She sure has interesting visitors!
We think this is Coreopsis.  The plant was almost as tall as mom was!
We're not sure what this white fluffy flowering wildflower is but it's everywhere~
Mom and I are sure loving these autumn temps.  You're teasing me, mom☺

And back at home............

We did our homework to learn that this mottled brownish "ball" attached to the Golden Orb spider's web is her egg sac.   We found a second one beneath her in the Dutch Iris greenery.  We will have to keep an eye on it in the spring and see what happens.

 We found a Periwinkle flower~

And the Holly has berries already!

Happy Friday, everybuddy!

Happy First Day of Autumn

Mom has been decorated for autumn for a couple of weeks now.  It's our favorite season!   This is the wreath on our back door~

This pumpkin is on our coffee table trunk.    Yes, that is a lit tree that you see in the background.
It's not a Christmas tree.  It's an autumn tree and it's loaded with Chinese Lanterns from the garden.
One can never have too many pumpkins♥

Happy first day of Autumn!

Nature Friday

We are joining Rosy, Sunny and Jakey for Nature Friday this week~

We found a cluster of berries that belongs to Jack in the Pulpit.

There are lots of soft looking grasses next to Farmer Will's field.
Why would you think that I was eating grass, mom?
Who needs a smile?  A Sunflower will do it for us every single time☺
I hear peeps coming, mom!

Our Rose of Sharon is still blooming away~

 Happy Friday, everybuddy!

So Ready for Autumn

Mom bought me a new collar for Autumn☺

The Chinese Lanterns are still blooming away!  What a year we've had for them and mom keeps collecting them and bringing them inside.
Haha - very funny, mom.

Mom put the AireConditioners away yesterday and last night our temps got down to 50 degrees F.   We are so ready for Autumn and cooler temps to hang around for a long time!

Happy Tuesday, everybuddy☺

Nature Friday

We are joining Arty today for Nature Friday.

Hurry up, mom!

Sedum is starting to come into bloom~

The Phlox is so pretty and smells wonderful!

You got a decent picture of Jewel Weed.  It must be your lucky day, mom!
Mr Mike's Dahlias always make us smile☺
This is not a tennis ball.   It's a chestnut and they are beginning to fall.  Be careful not to step on it.
Miss Jan has a Sunflower blooming down by the road☺
You aced the Chicory photo, mom!  This really is your lucky day!
We were on a longer walk this morning and saw lots of farmer Will's Sunflowers~
We saw flowers on the Trumpet Vine~
We found a huge grasshopper on our garage door~
Happy Friday, everybuddy!

We will never forget.

Love ya lots♥
