Flea Comb

We got a package from Chewy yesterday morning.
It contained a bag of my kibble......
And this.    A flea comb?   I have never had fleas in my life mom!  Why did you waste your $$ on this?
Because  dad and mom squeeze creamy goo and put eye drops in my eyes twice a day, the fur around my eyes gets crusty and sharp and nasty and mom can't stand it.
She has been using her Almay eye makeup remover to loosen the crusty nasties on my furs along with wet paper towels and she read on the internet that a flea comb will help her out too because of the teeth being so close together.    Our vet suggested soaking my eye with a green tea bag but somehow, we can't see that working out too well.   I don't have the patience to lay around with a tea bag over my eye.
Make sure you have lots of treats before we get started here, okay, mom.   Molly decided to join me for support so she doesn't miss out on any treats.
My eye does look a lot cleaner and my furs don't look quite so sticky and plastered, mom.   Good job!
We are wishing all of our friends a happy and a healthy and a safe 2016!
See you next year☺

Christmas Pressies

We got lots of pressies from Santa!      If I jump on the bag, I think the stuffie will squirt out, Molly~

It's a moose and his name is Marvin!
Mom and dad used to tell me that I looked just like a moose.   Do you think so too?

We got  Grandma Lucy's treats and they're APPLE flavor!
Hands off, mom!  Santa brought these for us!
I got a pretty pink tennis ball!   Mom says that pink is so much prettier for a girl than chartreuse.    Whatever, mom!

I also got this pretty ribbon collar.      I think I like the tennis balls better!
Let's get a game going here, mom!

 Catch, Molly!

We got Nylabone Healthy Edibles too - turkey and APPLE flavor!   Can you tell that somedoggie really likes apple☺

And we got True Chews treat bars - chicken, oats and APPLES!
We sure did have one yummy Christmas and it was fun - really, really fun☺
We wish Christmas was every day of the week!

We hope Santa was as good to you as he was to us!

Christmas Surprises

Uncle Phil was here yesterday and look what he brought for us.  Auntie Amy is the bestest cookie baker ever!    Oh boy, oh boy☺
And we got a surprise package in the mail.   It was from our hooman sissy.   We love the snowman card and we adore the Airedale welcome sign!
And we have just the spot for it!
Thank you, Missy!   It's just perfect
We are hard at work wrapping Christmas pressies.
Only 2 more days to go!

Date Night

No, it was not date night for us.   It was date night for mom and dad.  They went to go see this movie~
This is the summary from Wikipedia:

The Essex, an American whaleship from Nantucket, Massachusetts, sank after it was attacked by a sperm whale in the Pacific Ocean in November 1820. Having lost their ship, the crew of the Essex attempted to sail to South America in whaleboats. After suffering from starvation and dehydration, most of the crew died before the survivors were rescued in February 1821.
In retelling the story of the crew's ordeal, Philbrick utilizes an account written by Thomas Nickerson, who was a teenage cabin boy on board the Essex and wrote about the experience in his old age; his account was lost until 1960 but was not authenticated until 1980 before being published, abridged, in 1984. The book also utilizes the better known account of Owen Chase, the ship's first mate, which was published soon after the ordeal.
Mom and dad had never seen a movie in 3D before.  You have to wear these nutty-looking Poindexter-type glasses.    If you don't wear them, the movie will look blurry but when you do wear them, they said that the movie is fabulous and so real!
The critics don't give it the greatest reviews but mom and dad really, really liked it.
Their gift to us was these dumb 3D glasses.   What we really wanted was the left-over popcorn but that's not what we got.
Next time you head out to the movie theater, please bring popcorn home instead of geeky specs!

My New Cardi

Hi everybody!  It's me Maggie AireBear☺
Look at the cute cardi that mom made for me!  She says that when she bought this yarn, the first thing she thought of was how cute the sweater would look with crayon buttons.  When she was in Florida with gram, she found crayon buttons!
The sweater even has a hood.  Aren't I just the luckiest AireBear!
Actually, the cardi is not for me.   I fibbed.  Yes, I know that Santa is watching and listening.
The cardi is for a tiny little hooman that hasn't even been born yet. His/her hoomans are very, very good friends of ours.
Maybe if I'm a good AireGirl, santa will bring me a cute cardi exactly like this one.  I am putting it at the very top of my Christmas list☺

Sleeping Giant in December

Guess where we went on Tuesday?     It was 60 degrees and breezy as we hiked up Sleeping Giant!
I was so excited to be here that I practically pulled mom the entire way!
Molly has been to The Giant twice before so this is only her third time.
We sure did find some awesome smells.   Mom said that the Aire smelled especially clean and fragrant~

Mom and dad both agreed before we got out of our car that we would only go so far so we wouldn't tire me out.   I don't have the same muscle mass in my body that I used to have, thanks to the prednisone, although I did get another 10 mg taper while mom was in Florida.
Hurry it up - step up the pace!
Mom predicted that I would only get to about this far and then be turning back.   This marker seems to be about the halfway point from the bottom to the castle at the top.
I see the castle!

We made it!   Mom was wrong!   Check out dad's shirt.  Is that cool or what!

Ready to head down?   I'll race you, Mitch!
We sure did have one fun afternoon!
 Down the steps we go!
Can we do this again soon?   Pretty please!
Love ya lots♥
