Our mom heads to Florida tomorrow to visit with gram and gramp. She gets to have an early breakie at home with us and lunch with her mom and she thinks that's pretty cool!
We'd like to say that she's abandoning us but she's been cooking her butt off to make it easier on our dad.
The directions are all written out and both my supplements and dad's pills are in their pill containers to make it less stressful on our dad.
The cookie jar is stocked with kidney-sparing treats!
Extra glutinous rice has been made~
I eat hard boiled eggs every single day so mom made tons of those. All of those little H's mean that they are hard boiled and not raw.
Aunt Fern and Bambi gave us a great idea to mix tomato sauce in with the glutinous rice and with the pasta so it would freeze and thaw more easily and hopefully stay creamy and more yummy.
More beef is being made!
This has been a lot of work for mom but she says I'm worth it and she wants to make it as easy as possible on dad. She wants to come home and find me well-fed and happy, just the way she's leaving me.
The freezer is stocked! Now all dad has to do is remember to defrost a container when I need it!
Good thinkin' to buy 3 half gallons of ice cream, mom! I got dibbs on the GingerSnap, Mitch!
Mom is going to miss our crazy antics while she prepares our breakie and dindin!
We do love to scootch around until our meals are ready to be served!
I'll miss you, mom! I promise to take good care of dad and Mitch while you're gone. Hurry home!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
