My Seventh Gotch Day

We're celebrating again in March!  First it was Molly's 2nd birthday and now it's my 7th Gotcha Day!

 Bring on the Frosty Paws!

 Thank you for the helping hand!

 Mom made us both new bandanas for the occasion.
Mine has apples all over it and Molly's has tennis balls all over hers.
Very appropriate!

 I feel so very fortunate to have the bestest home ever!  Is it wasn't for my hooman sissy, Missy, and my mom shopping that day and then going home and telling my dad what they saw in the pet store, this 4 month old AireBoy would still be sitting in that horrible cage and waiting for someone to take me home and love me. 

Maggie didn't like me when I first arrived.  She was an only furchild for 8 years and she resented me and was jealous of me and I gave her a hard time because I was a youngster but she came to love me and I adored her ♥

And now I have Molly.  She can sure drive me nuts but she loves me and I love her!

I sure am one lucky boy!

Getting Back Into the Swing

Molly and I are getting back into the swing of supervising in our workshop. We still miss Crumpie's a lot.

Mom bought us these Smart Bone treats that we saw on Reilly and Denny's blog.   The aroma of peanut butter is overwhelming when you shove your nose in the bag!

 These are good-sized bones, mom!

 Being back home in our own workshop isn't so bad now!  We think we can get used to this quickly~

 A nice warm fire - a Smart Bone to gnaw on devour and mom and dad tossing me my tennis ball.  What could possibly be better?!

My Easter Bonnet

So how do you like it?  This hat is more my size~

 Mom made it. She took a piece of crafting felt and soaked it in starch and rubberbanded it to a spice jar top.  After it dried, she smeared glue all over the rubber band and then added ribbon and flowers and voila - I have an Easter bonnet!

 My new necklace?
I traded in the rusty jingle bell for a diamond necklace.
Only the very best for me!

This is mom's latest project.  An Easter bunny candle mat! She sure does like making these candle mats. 

 Miss Molly wanted to pose with me wearing her Easter bonnet too!

Chewy Delivers

We got treats in the mail yesterday from Mr Andrew at Chewy.

 Would you look at the size of these fabulous cookies!  They are Old Mother Hubbard Soft Bakes baked with applesauce and apples and oatmeal and honey and cinnamon!

 We have to let you in on a secret.  Mom tasted one and she loves them as much as we do!

And guess what else~
They are the perfect size for our new treat ball!  A couple of you have asked us about our treat ball.  It's the planet dog orbee tuff mazee puzzle treat ball and boy is it ever fun!

Time to drop the Soft Bakes into the treat ball, mom!



We highly recommend these Old Mother Hubbard Soft Bake Treats!  They are yummy and so much fun to try to get out of our new treat ball! Thank you so much, Chewy!

It's Coming To An End

Our work at Crumpie's is coming to an end.  We've been here for so long and it's such an awesome playground for us!

 The flooring guys have been here.  The first floor has been installed - oak flooring.  

 The 3rd floor landing is cherry and the 2nd floor is tiger maple.  The flooring guys just have a wee bit of work left on the 2nd floor and then it will be time for them to sand and apply the finish coats.  Mom and dad can't wait for that because the wood will come to life. 

 I'm sure going to miss playing ball here. 

I love tossing it down and waiting for it to be thrown back up to me and if mom and dad are too busy, I'll run up and down the stairs and amuse myself for hours!
Look out below!  Here it comes!

 It's such a comfy and warm and fun spot.

The raising for this barn was in July 2010.  I can't believe that one day very soon, we won't be able to come over here and play anymore.   It's really kind of sad.  I'm going to miss it a lot.

 We'll have to create new and fun games in our own workshop, Molly, while mom and dad timber frame and build another barn - one that will be raised in Maine in September.  
 

Many of you have asked what Mr Crumpie will do with his barn once we're all finished.      It will be his new clock shop!
We went to Lenny and Joe's for dindin last night and we had to make a stop along the way.
This is Crumpie's barn/clock shop in Madison.  Mom and dad and Gene built it in 1996.  Isn't it a cutie!  Notice that the hinges on the door are clock hands.  The cupola is a real working clock!

 Hey, Reilly and Denny.  Take a look at one of the clocks mom and dad saw inside the clock shop!  Isn't it just the coolest!

 We can't wait to see Mr Crumpie's fabulous antique clocks in "our" barn!

My Birthday Pressies

Thank you so much for all of the birthday wishes yesterday, everybody!  I got pressies for my birthday too! 

 I got a treat ball!  Should I be afraid of it?  It makes funny noises when the ball rolls and the treats bang around in there. 

 Hopefully, Molly won't notice that I stole her new purple monkey.  hehe

 I've decided that anything that dispenses treats can't be scary!

 I see another one in there - a really BIG one!  Let me just roll this ball around with my paw until it falls out!

 Maybe biting on the ball will help?

 Mitch thought that I didn't notice that he helped himself to my new rope toy!  Silly Mitch!

 Having birthdays is sure fun!  I wish I didn't have to wait a whole year to have another one!
