Mitch's First Christmas Tree

Mom put the big Christmas tree up in our family room this past weekend and Mitch was only too happy to help her out!
I'm actually happy that he did help her! It's been my job for 9 years and this is Mitch's very first Christmas so I want him to know how really fun this holiday is!

Mitch already has his nose in the box of ornaments! He can't wait to start!

You're supposed to hang the bunny on the Christmas tree, Mitch - not eat him! hehehehe

You all know that Mitch loves apples! Mom has a couple of fake ones that she puts on the tree! I think Mitch is thinking that this apple is the real deal! I wonder how long this tree is going to be standing!

Great job, Mitch! Now you have to stay right there and not move until Santa comes and puts all of our pressies under the tree! Do you think you'll be able to do that?!

awwwwwwww man! Wouldn't that be nice! Peace and quiet for a whole month! Yea, right!

So until next time..............

Love ya lots,

You have a big tree Maggie. Mine is just a tiny winy little xmas tree.....I cant put an apple on it!! Can you imagine how small it is??

Mojo said...

That apple's a goner. I can tell.

Not sure what this talk of 'peace and quiet for a whole month' is all about. If you weren't there making a rumpus, life would be so dull. Although there are mutterings of no tree here for me this year. Somehow they can envisage me pulling it over, dragging it through the house then chewing it to splinters. Not sure why they think that.

That first pic really shows how big you're getting. Sooooo handsome. So beautifully groomed. Does your mum clip or strip you?

Great idea, Maggie - leave the work for the younger dog and save your energie für unwrapping the gifts on christmas! ;o)

Mich has done a great job, the tree looks beautiful!

Mitch waited for Santa.
Eat Bunny for it.
Uselessness, and such thing.
Apple ..however.. might come to want to eat.
The tree of happiness is decorated now. :)

Your people are just asking for trouble by hanging that apple on the tree! I think you should knock down the tree and steal the apple just to teach them a lesson. hehehe

Don't listen to Comet - he tries to get other doggies in as much trouble as he gets into. Your tree is very pretty. We're glad to hear that you got our card.

Mom says she loves the Christmas tree on the cart. It looks really good like that!

Hey, Mitch! This is our first Christmas, too. Mom's been telling me a litle bit about it, but maybe we should compare notes. So Santa Paws is supposed to slide down our chimney? Hmm...I'm not so sure how that's going to work. We'll just have to see!

PS. The decorations are looking good!
