Mom has never ever made me dress up in a costume -not even for the annual Barktoberfest event that's coming up on October 14th and we are going and we can't wait!
I always feel so sorry for all those poor doggies! You can see it on their faces that they feel totally humiliated while people stand around laughing at them! Yes, I know it's all in good fun, but they don't look like they're having much fun to me!
So we have to apologize to Blue for being such spoilsports and not getting dressed to the nines but Mitch and I are so happy that our mom lets us slide on the costume thing!
For those of you who don't get to slide - we'll be thinking of you!
So until next time..................
Love ya lots,
Maggie
How lucky for you 2 that your mummy do not make you wear costumes but mine make me wear all sort of clothes. You look great in the pumpkin bandanna.
ReplyDeleteLuv,
Snowball
I will never wear a costume.... this is what VĂ©ronique says...and I am happy with this. One day I remember I had to wear a t-shirt because of my operation....grrrrr
ReplyDeleteKisses, Faya
Hey, Maggsie & MitchMan!
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You guys sure get up early!
I'm with you ~ strictly a nudist here. The most you'll see me actually wear is a banana too. I might dress for an occasional photo op, but my girl is anti-clothes where I'm concerned. Mainly, she let me decide & since I put my paw down, she respects my wishes.
Hey, I'll be posting about the beard competition today or tomorrow and I'll give you my current beard length then. It's nowhere near as long as yours, Mags.
Goober love & beard envy,
Stanley
As costume, I wear sometime sunglasses or hat ...
ReplyDeleteBut never a very long time ... after I play with ...
Kisses

The party of halloween is happy.
ReplyDeleteIt is lonely that there are no clothes.
However, there are a pumpkin and a cookie. :)
The bandana is a lovely pumpkin color.

ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm actually with you re dressing up... but wanted to see what the DWB gang would do, especially on the 'virtual' costume front after all the party outfits...
You'll get your Halloween invite to me my graveyard bash shortly!

Well, muzzer would like to make us wear costumes, but Teka keeps eating them! So no Halloweenie costumes for us, like you, a bananana and a big smile.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I wear the sweaters my sissie makes for me, even in Azrizona, cause I loves her.

Hi Maggie! Hi Mitch!
ReplyDeleteGreatest ever bandannas! I don't wear costumes either!!!!! When can you send your Mom and Dad back again to SEE ME??? I had such funnest ever with them and I WANT THEM TO COME BACK AGAIN!!!!! Oh and please apologize to your Dad about the whole body slamming incident, okay????
Your Friend,
Putter ...:)
You guys are lucky. My Mom doesn't really dress us up a lot, but I do have a sweater waiting for me for when it starts to get cold. Actually, pugs need sweaters in the cold. We can't tolerate it too well, and we don't have nice thick fur like you! :)
ReplyDeleteJoey is gonna be a pirate (Jack Sparrow, to be exact) and I still don't know what I'm gonna be. I'm not looking forward to it, though.
Puggy kisses
Suki
I think you look GREAT in your bananadanas! My sissy is a nudist and doesn't like clothes so they don't make her do it. I don't mind some clothes (my jersey) but am not fond of many costumables so we usually go the bananadana route, too.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see pictures of Barktoberfest! That sounds like a BLAST!
wally.

The Woman will not let me wear clothing. She says I am already too impressed with myownself without adding clothes to the mix. Boy that stinks. But I did get my very own halloweenie logo complete with flashing red eyes. Arrrrrrrroooooooo.
ReplyDeleteWe also don't ware costume's, but we do like your bandana's.
ReplyDeleteCaz did put a pair of sunglasses on me once, for a pic,but i soon shook my head and they fell off.
You do look deadsmart in your bandana's though.

Maggie...
ReplyDeleteyou are sure lucky...I have no idea what my Mom has in store for me, but I'm worried. Maybe I can convince her to change her mind. Do you think extra kisses and sharing my snackies would help?
Lots of Licks, Ruby
Hi Maggie and Mitch you look fabulous wearing your bandanas - we don't even have them boohoo
ReplyDeleteThe Thugletsx
Hi Maggie and Mitch! You guys look so great... I don't wear clothes in public unless it's my rain coat, but that is a must in our neck of the woods.
ReplyDeletebtw, how long is Mitch's beard? I think I might enter the contest too.
Loves.

Hi, Maggie.
ReplyDeleteI like my dresses because they mean walkies! I don't wear them at home.
Here we can't find costumes for dogs, which I appreciate!
Sure you look great with your bandanas!
Have a nice day
Lorenza
We're with you guys,co clothes for us unless it is FREEZING out and even then sometimes we just grin and bare it.So I guess we are nudists too!! Love A+A
ReplyDeleteI love your bandanas! Mom and I were just talking today if I was going to dress up or not. I told her if I was going to maybe I could just be Stanley or something like that...
ReplyDeleteBooty scratches and Wet Kisses,

I'm with you guys, ditch the costumes. I had to endure a wedding vale on my head once....I'm a bloke for goodness sake.
ReplyDeleteNoah
Hi Maggie and Mitch....
ReplyDeleteWe think your Mom has it right about the costume thing. We don't really do the costume thing either. Our Mom bought us shirts but we could really live without them either.
Love, Seadra and Zoe
Hi Maggie & Mitch,
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I could be a nudist too. I was last year, but I heard mom talking about something called a scarecrow costume. Now, I'm really scared. I don't wanna dress up. Mom even has plans to parade me around to the Halloween party at my dog park AND to the Halloween Pet Parade at Navy Pier. I'm freaking out, Navy Pier is Chicago's most popular tourist destination, and all those people will see me as a scarecrow, whatever the heck that is. UGGG! Enjoy wearing your bandanas and think of me looking like a fool.
Your Pal,
Kirby
Maggie and Mitch! You two look stunning with bandanas!
ReplyDeleteMy pawrents should learn something about costume thingy from your mom!!! Unfortunately I've got kinda used to wear anything my pawrents choose...gggrrrrr...they've tried really hard to let me wear everything since I was a pup. :(
Momo xoxo
Oh wow! Look how grown up Mitch is looking. He's not a puppy anymore. You two look great in your bananadanas.

Yeah... I'll do a bandana, but t-shirts, etc... drive me crazy!
ReplyDeleteLicks,
Nugget
hey M&M, you know our mom doesn't dress us up much either, other than a bandana or hat. mostly it's because we just can't find many clothes our size. we have raincoats 'cuz it rains so much here, but we never wear them. it takes a very long time for us to get wet! hahahahahaha that's the advantage of having a thick curly coat. we have our clothes on us at all times. so for hallowee, we're gonna dress up like poodles. hahahahahahahaha
ReplyDeletewoofers.
You 2 look great in those bandanas too. :)
ReplyDelete~ Girl girl
You are so lucky. I hate to think what Mummy has in mind for me this year, but she was looking on ebay the other day. Help!
ReplyDeleteSimba xx
Oh, you two are very lucky! Unfortunately, I will be dressed up as a ghost & will have to hold a pumpkin basket. Not fun!
ReplyDeleteLove licks,
Solid Gold Dancer
We feel the same way as you do but our mama is quite weird. She will get us clothes then *snap snap* with the camera and then we are allowed to run around nak-kid

Boy n Baby
Hi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteIm not so sure about this costume thing either. My Mommy keeps looking for ones for me to wear, but im hoping she doesn't find one! I barely tolerate the sweater she puts on me!
Love Toby
Chase and Levi share a Zorro costume, though neither has worn it for a couple of years. :) They don't seem to mind though! I love your scarves. :)
ReplyDeleteWoo M & M - I don't wear costumes either, but I do wear bandanas and I LOVE YOURS!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sitka
Good for you and good for your mama! I have never had clothes on and my mom has all she can do to put a leash on me. When she changes my collar, I make it very difficult for her. I think I'll try bandanas, though. They really look cool.
ReplyDeleteKoobuss Kisses,
Koobie
Tasteful and dignified! We're on your side. Woofs, Johann
