The Beauty Berry

Last year when mom saw Wyatt's Beauty Berry bush she knew that she wanted one of these in our yard. 
Guess what?
She bought one this past weekend for 40% off! whooooohooooooo 
Yes, it's still very small but it has purple berries and it's just beautiful!
I was helping her plant her Beauty Berry when all of a sudden I heard a chipmunk teasing me!
 I'm coming to get you!
 You didn't know that I could move this fast for a senior girlie, did you? 
Think again you nasty chipper!
What a beautiful autumn day now that Mr. Chipper is out of my yard!
OMG, you're really not going to post this picture are you, mom?!
I had a piece of grass stuck on my tongue - no big deal!

Guess what?  You're not going to believe this because we still don't!
Mom won the gorgeous Home At Last Airedale quilt!  whooooooohoooooooo
We'll be watching for the mailman!

    What a beautiful bush! Can you do anything with the berries...or are they just ornamental?

    Your mom is the luckiest mom in the world! The Airedale quilt is just gorgeous! And how fitting that it should be won by someone who had a hand in making it!

    Woof! Woof! We used to have a berry bush but it recently died (I guess the location mom planted it is not good). LOVE the quilt. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

    Hi Maggie and Mitch, yay Maggie - get rid of that chipmunk. I've seen squirrels and my dad says that they're kind of the same thing. I'd bark and chase it out of the yard too. We think that your mom is genuinely a nice person and because of that, has good fortune land on her on a regular basis and we think that's the way it should be. Oh yes, my brother Owen and I eat grass all the time.
