A Rainy Windy Day

Yesterday, it was rainy and windy and we didn't get our walk in and we were NOT happy!
Mom's plan was to make our nanny's Goulash for dindin AND New England Clam Chowder for another night this week.   Your favorite Airedales are available to help you out, mom!  
We just happen to love celery~

 And red peppers~
 And green peppers!
 And because mom was making them at the same time................
You just dropped a potato chunk into the goulash, mom.   Nanny never puts potatoes in her Goulash!
A few more ingredients and they'll both be ready to simmer until they're all done~
The Goulash is served over ditalini onies.

    I is waiting fur my walkies this morning as well...at the moment there's far too much rain fur this Princess's paws!
    Oh I luffs a chowder, yum yum, those foodables look soooooo tasty

    Yummy Goolash is the perfect dish for a cold, rainy day! And chowder, yummy. We have had lots of rain and then yesterday the temps dropped way down.

    OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY CATS/DOGS/ELEPHANTS, BIRDIES
    our mouths are watering. BOTH DISHES LOOK ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR COLD RAINY WINDY WEATHER. Mitch and Molly I bet you stayed close by mom's feets too just in case she dropped something.

    Hmm We will be over for dinner in a while! It looks really good. Treacle too is not going out much as the weather is yuck here, they have forecast some snow by the end of the week, at least it won't be raining!!! Hugs, Susie x

    I swear y'all are the luckiest puppers I know to have a mom that cooks. My mom things if she takes it out of the box and heats it up she's cooking. Can I come live with y'all.

    Hey just yesterday when dad was cutting up the vegetables for mom to make chili, he gave me some of the celery, which I love, and red pepper, which I also love. So I guess we all belong to the same loony club!!!

    SHE LOVES NE Clam chowder! Well, it was too hot here for a walk...other than our early morning walk at the river. Today will be hotter (expecting 105.8°F) But we've been to the river and even went swimming. We hope the weather is better tomorrow, we don't like missing walks.

    I think Penny must have been reading over my shoulder, because you've mentioned celery before. That was one of the few vegetables she would not eat, but recently she's kindly accepted a couple of pieces.
