A Very Special Gift

Our mom went to garden centers and she bought flowers to plant near angel Mitch's grave.  They need to be shade loving plants.
She founds a cute garden bench and  decided that she needed to have that too~
The grass seed is FINALLY starting to germinate!
She sat the angel on the bench that's been with Mitch for a month and she decided that an apple and feather would be a perfect addition too~

And look what came in yesterday's mail!
It's an apple birdhouse only evil mom plugged up the hole so the birdies can't make a nest inside.   It's a decorative birdhouse with no way to clean it out at the end of the season.
It looks beautiful swinging from a lilac branch near Mitch.  We think he would approve.
The mailman brought us a box from Auntie Lydia and Dave and Sophie, her Airedales.   Of course, when mom saw it, she burst into tears.
She knew immediately what she was going to put inside the Mitchy tin.
I know what's in here, mom!   I can smell him!
It's our Mitchy's fur from his very last grooming ♥
That's not all Auntie Lydia sent.   She also sent a stained glass purple paw.    Purple is my favorite color and mom says it will forever remind her of me and Mitch and all of the fun adventures that we had together.
The stained glass paw hangs in our dining room looking out over Mitch's grave.
We just love it♥

Auntie Lydia and Dave and Sophie also sent the most beautiful card.  Thank you so very, very much!  You guys are always so sweet and thoughtful.   Your gifts are so special and mean the world to us♥
Love ya lots♥

  20. Oh Molly
Your mommas heart is missing Angel Mitch,,, and her heart was in the right place ,, to go buy pretty flowers to place around Mitch's special place where he rests,,, in the earth! The flowers are so pretty.
And a new bench is absolutely perfect,, so that time can be spent comfortably during the "spend time with Mitch" time. And a perfect place for the Angel to sit.

Arent friends so full of love when suddently they know exactly what can come help heal hearts... The apple birdhouse is so beautiful, sitting there with the feather,
And the the beautiful purple paw,,, so special.. so touching.
The tin with Angel Mitch's fur,,,,,, will last forever and ever.
Hold it all close to your heart.. and let the tears fall..
Its the way that hearts heal... and by sharing.
    love

  21. You planted Lamium by Mitch. I have that flower on my stone wall right by the paw prints of my last Scot with a penny for the year he died.
We love the soft pink little flowers and the silver tip leaves. And it blooms for us off and on all summer.
    Sweet William The Scot
