Mom brought the camera along on our walk on Wednesday. The Burning Bushes are such a beautiful red this time of the year~
The duckies are all playing follow the leader but we're confused as to which one is the leader~
The roof over their well is keeping the mums from getting bitten by the cold frosty mornings~
Make a wish!
We discovered white berries on this bush. We don't know what it is. Mom told us to stay away in case the berries might be poison berries.
Mackie is such a big goofy boy. He weighs 60 pounds already and he's only 8 months old!
Except for the sidelights on either side of our front door, the front of our house is all done! It's been a busy summer. We have new sheathing and new siding and new windows and new porch columns and a new brownstone porch and a newly laid sidewalk.
And the grass is growing!
You can let the snow fly anytime you want to now!
Our dad spent Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning building a cross for Michael, the son of our very good friends, until his headstone can be made. RIP Michael. You died way too young :-(
When does the sadness stop.
Love ya lots♥
Molly and Mackie

ReplyDeleteI am asking Santa. But the Cowboy keeps saying spring.
We'll see.
The cross is lovely.
Your burning bushes are gorgeous. Ours don't get enough direct sun to get a vibrant color like that.
ReplyDeleteOh, the front of the house is magnificent - looks like a brand new place!!! Nice work, Mom and Dad.

I am very sorry about your friend's son. Sending much love and support during such a sad time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Fall walks are the best. Not too hot, not too cold and lots of pretty leaves for the humans to enjoy.
Such gorgeous scenery for your walk but I'm so sorry about Michael. Sometimes it feels as if the sadness is endless. But it does turn around someday... at least that's what I tell myself. Sending good thoughts to all of you.
