My day started out with walkies. We walked for a whole hour! This is a brand new neighborhood so there are lots and lots of new peemails!
The yellow house behind me is where mom and I live. We're on the second floor.

My 5th Birthday
I'm 5 years old today!
My day started out with walkies. We walked for a whole hour! This is a brand new neighborhood so there are lots and lots of new peemails!
The yellow house behind me is where mom and I live. We're on the second floor.
The pond behind me is Boles pond. It was named by my dad and his friends. Dad grew up not far from where mom and I live so he is very helpful with letting us know the best walking routes and points of interest~
So this is a sidewalk! We didn't have sidewalks on our walks in Northford.
Mom can't wait to see the pretty flowers on this street!
We never had fire hydrants along our walks in Northford either.
Pawty time!!!
Mom told me to wait at home while she went to get my birthday "cake". Yup, I get to have a Glenwood cheeseburger all to myself☺
A whole cheeseburger! And a french fry! Mom says you're only 5 once and we need to live it up!
I LOVED my cheeseburger!
I"m making sure I don't miss any crumbs!
What a fun birthday and it's not over yet!

What a beautiful new neighborhood you have to sniff and discover things.
Sit down so you don't faint. Guess what we just got a yellow fire hydrant across the street from us. There has been a red one there for at least 87 years. Then lo and behold about a month ago they city covered it with a yellow plastic bag that read out of service. Then a week or so later they replaced it with a yellow one. Evidently yellow hydrants are public owned hydrants. There are 22,000 hydrants in our City that are public. Most are being painted yellow but if they are as old as ours they are being replaced.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Miss Molly!!! Five is a pretty special age. My Keltic will be five this year too. His birthday is on 17 Mar. I'll miss it this year as I will be away for work. I only fly home on the 18th. Maybe I'll have to get him a burger for his birthday too; I won't have time to make a cake.
