The Most Funnest Day

Yesterday, we had temps near 60 degrees!  It's almost December First!
Mom and I took my ball outside and we played for a long time!

 We sure did have the most funnest day ever!

Not Another Pair

You are not going to believe this but as much as my mom hates to knit socks, why in the world would she want to make another pair?

 This is the first pair - back in the angel Maggie and Mitch days.  This pair was made in June of 2009.     Has mom ever worn them? 
NO!

 This is Miss Autumn back in February 2010 with mom's completed second pair of socks.    Has she ever worn them?
NO!
What is she saving them for?

 And here Mackie and I are showing you the third pair of socks that mom has made.  These were made on a larger needle and a more weighty yarn and they knit up faster but are thicker and more bulky and perfect for winter.   Do you think she'll wear them this year?
Time will tell.

 So why in Heaven's name is she knitting yet another pair of socks?
She must be NUTS!

 And guess what today is?
It's the day that angel Maggie started our blog eleven years ago!  So much has happened in those 11 years!        Thank you all so very much for following along with me and Maggie and Mitch and Mackie for so many very special years♥

My Special Pendant

Mom was involved with another auction on facebook not long ago.    This auction was to benefit Texas Airedale Rescue.   The auction raised $5,800!   yippeeeee
Mom was bidding on a pendant that would be personalized just for her.   And of course, she chose me to be on her pendant!

Doesn't it look pretty against my furs☺

Can I please wear it all the time, mom?

Better yet.   It might make a beautiful ornie for Mitch's apple Christmas tree!

I really love my new pendant♥   It's a win-win for me and for Texas Airedale Rescue!

Oh and BTW, mom and I did not buy this house.  The buyer is a jeweler and he owns a jewelry store that is practically in my back yard and I NEED to find out of he sells diamond studded collars.    I deserve one, don't you think?☺

Thanksgiving Day at My Sissy's House

Mom and I were treated like royalty yesterday.  Not only did my sissy prepare the entire turkey dindin but she came and picked us up and brought us home at the end of the day.    How is that for service!

Is that what they call a sunroof, mom?  I want one of these in our car!

I've never been to Missy's house before.   There are lots of new smells here!
Missy has an American Bulldog mix named Shiloh and he's upstairs hanging out because she thought that it would be best.  He's not all that dog friendly.  

 OMD - I want a bed like this for Christmas, mom! 

 Missy has fishies and at one point, I was staring at them and not too sure about them.   It took me a couple of minutes of observing before I knew that I was safe and they couldn't get me.    

 And she has too kitties.   One of them was downstairs the whole time and I never got to see her.   This kitty is Oreo.   Angel Maggie met him when she was just a young pup.  How cool is that!   He's 19 years old.   There is actually a fence between us.  Missy told me that he wouldn't like me so it would be best to keep my distance.  

 The turkey is out of the oven!    Do you need any help?   I'm a very good helper!

 Turkey and stuffing and cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole and stuffed celery!    Mom said that it was all delicious and cooked to perfection.    I got a small piece of turkey☺

 Shiloh needed a peepee break so I hung out in the kitchen while he went outside.   I was a good girl.    I was alone with the turkey in the kitchen and the door was closed and no countersurfing happened!

 Shiloh didn't want to go back upstairs.   He wanted to hang out with company~

 But Missy said no - back up you go.

 I found a tennis ball in Shiloh's toy box and I was the happiest girl☺

We got a choice of pumpkin pie or chocolate cream pie.   Mom couldn't decide so she had both!

 I got a piece of pumpkin pie!   My Thanksgiving was complete!

Thank you so much for inviting me, Missy!    I had the bestest time at your house!

Today would have been Mitch's 11th birthday.   Happy Birthday, angel Mitch♥   Not a day goes by that we don't think of you and miss you♥

Tug Time

Mackie and I have been playing tug a lot while he's visiting. 
What?   You see Christmas trees behind us?   Yes, you do!    Mom has been busy putting up the Airedale tree and getting Cuddle Clones Maggie and Mitch into the holiday spirit.

Update:  
Mom ordered a very special ornie just for me and it arrived in the mail yesterday☺  It's the brightest ornie on the tree and not too far away from the prettiest ornie - ME!       I love my new tennis ball ornie!   It's fuzzy - just like the real thing!

Cuddle Clones, Maggie and Mitch are wearing the antlers that hopefully, I won't have to wear!  And that's Gram's tree that she decorated with babies breath and red ribbons and red roses.   Gram never put lights on any of her trees so mom added them because  mom LOVES the Christmas lights!

 When will it be time to go outside and play, mom?!

No Raking for Us

The sun is shining today and mom raked while we played!   

 I'm hot on your tail, Mackie!

 Can you see that I'm wearing a red boot on my rear left foot?     Because I hate squirrels so much and I have to tearAss off the back porch to get to them as quickly as possible - I seem to have a slice on one of my pads.  She can't imagine how else this could have happened.   Mom didn't want it to get any worse so she made me wear this boot.   I didn't mind it at all.    
Mom says good thing we have four boots because I got this one pretty dirty.

As long as Mackie and I can play outside - that's all that matters!   
The weather peeps say rain will be with us tomorrow so we gotta get all of our fun outside playing in today!
