Follow these steps to receive comments in your email:
1. Go to Dashboard or Design in blogger
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Email
4a. If the box "Comment Notification Email" is blank, add your email address and save.
OR
4b. If the box already has your email address, remove it, save, then go back and add your email address again and save.
Doing this will subscribe you to comments. You'll receive an email from Blogger that offers you the choice to subscribe or not. Choose subscribe and you should begin receiving email notifications again.
You won't receive them from yahoo and aol email accounts because of settings in yahoo and aol.
It worked for us - HURRAH!!!!

yep we read that tip about a month ago on another blog and it DOES work. Not sure if you know but we also have a cat blog which is on blogger, Dakota's is on WordPress. Happy Sunday!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful smile, Molly. You know, we have used that tip already. It works for most of our comments but you and a couple of others never seem to come to us in e-mail. We always have to check our blog to be sure we don't miss your comments. We have never been able to figure out why. If we put a comment on our own blog and check the box in the comment form for email notifications, then we do get yours too. Very strange.

ReplyDeleteGreat tips. I ended up using WordPress as I could not get along with Blogger with paying for adding pictures with my credit card company who kept rejecting the payments as being a scam!!!! So glad you are receiving your comments via email again. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx
