We are joining Rosy this week for Flower Friday~~
Farmer Will plowed under all of the beautiful sunflowers. I hope he replants them again next year~
We found Shasta Daisies right across the street from where the sunflowers were planted~
We have been seeing these white caterpillars for the last couple of months near our Copper Beech tree and we had no idea what they are called so we checked the intermuts. It seems this little guy is a Hickory Tussock Moth Caterpillar.
And we have to tell you that our Luna Moth egg case disappeared. Mom frantically searched for it but it's gone. We haven't had windy days and the only living animals that we have seen near the Copper Beech tree are the evil squirrels. Are you thinking what I'm thinking...........
We found beautiful white turned pink flowers on this hydrangea tree~
And we found fruit all over this Kousa Dogwood tree~
And we found berries~
And more berries~
And a pretty purple Petunia!
And hairy moldy mushrooms. ewwwwwwww~
And I picked up autumn-wear all over my face. Ooops!
Mom's corn cob pumpkin decorations~~
Thanks for walking along with us! Happy Friday, everybuddy☺
Love ya lots♥
Molly
wow that berries look berry tasty... are they eatable? the nelly says yes, but I have some doubts, for him even stones and cow-pizzas are like treats...
ReplyDeleteSome pretty cool looking flowers you found there. Too bad the sunflowers are gone, but I bet they will be back next year.
ReplyDeleteLove your Mom’s pumpkins! Is that one kernel at a time? Wowser

Good Golly Miss Molly that caterpillar's name is longer than he is.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty and I love the last two photos.
Hugs Cecilia
Our hydrangea flowers have all turned pink too. Later they'll fade to purple (if this cold wind doesn't blow them all away.) We've always wanted a kousa dogwood tree, but we've run out of room in the yard.
ReplyDeleteThose fruits on the Dogwood tree are so cool! And we just love your mom's pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
What a great walk. Lots to see!
ReplyDeleteWow, you found lots of pretty things, Molly. Mom loves the pretty pink hydrangeas. And some birds are going to be very happy with all those berries!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
You found some colorful things even if they weren't flowers. Our Kousa was full of berries too but what the squirrels didn't eat have now fallen off.
ReplyDeleteWhat interesting fruits on the dogwood tree! Sorry the Luna Moth egg disappeared :-( but the little caterpillar is cute and fuzzy

We've been seeing a lot of wooly bears and we found some purple mushrooms that we'll post later.
ReplyDeleteWow! This was a "berry" good Flower Friday! How did you make corn pumpkins?
ReplyDeleteWhat great flowers and we just love the berries especially the Dogwood ones they really are amazing. The corn cob pumpkins are great. Treacle comes in with Autumn all of her but now she has had a trim it is a little easier to get them out of her fur again. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx
