Mom bought a new carpet runner for the kitchen just for me! She noticed that I seem to be more stiff when I begin to walk when I rise from a reclining position and doesn't want me slipping and sliding.
She's also been taking a harder look at my joint supplements. I have been on Glyco-flex for awhile now and she decided to go back to my old liquid supplement. Maggie was on it when she got to be my age and Mitch took it all of his life and I was on it when I was younger. So mom and I are crossing paws and fingers that this could be the answer.
And I am happy to report that the Acti-Flex is working! Yes, I know there is a horsie on the label instead of a pup. Just a small teaspoon is doing the trick and mom and I are so thankful.
Love ya lots♥
Molly
WooHoo Molly you have the bestest Mom always on the look out for you and your comfort not to mention she color coordinated the new runner with your beautiful AireGal furs.

ReplyDeleteSlipping and sliding became such a problem for my last dog I made special booties from baby socks with grippers on the bottom. Your runner looks so much better. I need to get some joint stuff for Levi.
ReplyDeleteI hope it works for you too. We try very hard to make sure our babies are as comfortable as they can be. You're so beautiful, Miss Molly.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥
That's so nice of your mom to get you that runner. We're glad to hear that supplement is making you feel better too.
ReplyDeleteWe're glad that stuff is helping you feel better. And yes, a runner is very helpful for doggies to keep from slipping and sliding on a bare floor.
ReplyDeleteThat carpet runner is a good idea, your Mom sure knows how to take good care of you Ruby. Glad the supplements are helping - Yay!
ReplyDeleteI called you Ruby, I'm so sorry Molly!
ReplyDeleteMom just put 2 new small carpets down for us by the bed so it's easier for us when we jump down. Getting old is lame. *ear licks* Noodle
ReplyDeleteWe think the runner will help....and we're glad it is so close to the food preparation area! Great spot.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful runner Molly, it even matches your furs!! Jakey and Arty also take joint supplements once a day, and Mama is loving how flexible Jakey is as a senior pup.He is the only one of us she has to stop him from jumping off the big bed and tell to use the ramp!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
That's a nice runner. I'm sure it makes it more comfortable. Keltic probably needs some supplements too. He'll be eight in March.
ReplyDeleteThat's great and have fun on that rug.

We're so glad your new supplement is helping! That's awesome! And we LOVE your runner! It goes so nicely with your furs -- it has to be just for you!
ReplyDeleteCam and Mags
That was very sweet of you. We know the first thing we would do is pee on it. Don't take after us.
ReplyDeleteYour mom loves you if she bought you your very own runner! I haven't heard of your new supplement but I am so glad that it's helping you, Molly!
ReplyDeleteYour Mom takes such good care of you, Molly, and isn't that runner pretty! We're glad you are already getting better. We are making note of that supplement to possibly use for Luke. Thanks for sharing!

Our Bentley was afraid of slippery floors so we put runners all over the place for him. I also used paw wax to keep him from slipping. Lola is pretty stiff when she first starts moving around. She's taking a bunch of things for her arthritis, too.
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "It's good to have runners! When Dennis was old they were all over the house."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "Dennis told me those were for Tucker, because Tucker was old."
Charlee: "Well, maybe, but they never got picked up after Tucker went away. I'm glad, too, because they're made of sisal so they're really nice for sharpening your claws."
Lulu: "Really? I just walk on them. I don't sharpen my claws on them."
Charlee: "That's because you're not a cat."
We love the colours in your new rug, they are our sort of colours. I am so glad that the supplement is working for you. Treacle gets a capsule, which I tell her is a sweetie and she just eats it, and that is for joint and bone health and at the moment she seems okay. She is really funny whenever she gets out of her basket she does a series of stretches like she is doing dog yoga and then is fine to walk!!!! Hugs, Susie xxx
