In Purrsuit of Flavours

We are joining Phenny and Nellie today for In Purrsuit of Flavours~
On the menu today is salad~
Mom doesn't eat lettuce unless she can buy it at a farm stand because so many times there is a recall on it at the grocery store and tomatoes and cucs don't taste flavorful until they are in season so she decided to make Macaroni salad.     It's rotini pasta, a small can of tuna, 2 hard boiled eggs, a few stalks of celery, mayo, a wee bit of mustard, salt and pepper.
I love celery and I got a nice size piece but mom's camera wasn't fast enough to catch that shot.
It's SuperYummy, mom!   A good choice for sure!
Happy Wednesday, everybuddy!

Love ya lots♥
Molly

  5. Levi hate celery and wants to gift you all of his. He's really good about eating around celery in a salad.

  9. We've never found a food that Norma Jean won't eat. She loves salads of all kinds. Mackey is much fussier and refuses most fruits and veggies.

  13. We love tuna and so does mom so this recipe is a must. Pasta salad is a failing of mom's so you have given her some direction. Mom likes a great crunchy piece of celery. Wish we had a season long enough to grow our own.

Do you recommend the crunchy part of celery or the leaves?

  15. Oh, that looks yummy! We think your Mom is wise about her choice in veggies. Luke and I love a good tuna macaroni salad, but the Dad does not like to share that, so I don't make it too often.

  18. That looks yummy. Domino and Lola are jealous. They aren't allowed in our tiny kitchen. Only 1 paw in when we come in from outside and get a carrot! Have a great day. Glad I could come by. Oh Ic agree about the lettuce!

  19. I will definitely try this as we love pasta salad, especially cold in the summer. It looks yummy. We are lucky with our lettuce here in the UK as a lot of it is local that we get. Know what you mean about cucumbers and tomatoes. I also find the skin on cucumbers to be quite tough, I am growing some this year from seed so we shall see how it goes. 20. Chaplin: "Dennis used to tell us how our brother Tucker who we never met loved vegetables like celery."
Charlee: "We don't really get it. We like meat."
    Lulu: "Did someone say meat?"
Chaplin: "Well, yes, but I also like to nibble on the top parts of pineapples, corn husks, tomato stems ..."
Charlee: "You are SO WEIRD, Chaplin."
Chaplin: "... uh huh, if you don't like it, more for me! Kale, green beans, the tops of persimmons ..."
    Charlee: "Ugh."
Lulu: "Is there meat or not?"
