I used to be allowed to hang out in the tub when we lived in our apartment. I was respectful and didn't dig at the textured base but it changed when we came here and mom didn't want me doing damage to Landlord Bob's bathtub so I was only allowed to be in it when it had water inside and I was getting a bath.
Yesterday, the sleet was so loud and so scary that I tried once again to hide and be safe~
She heard me climb in and she waited to see if I would "behave myself". I was a good girl♥Bless you for letting me stay♥
Sleet is sure noisy and very scary stuffs!
Happy Saturday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥

ReplyDeleteWell, I am just glad you have a 'panic room' to retreat to, Molly! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
That'll do the trick!! You had good schooling...during a storm, always seek the safety of the tub!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were allowed to stay in your safe spot sweet Molly, those noises can be scary!
ReplyDeletePoor baby! I'm glad your mom let you stay in that nice safe place. You are one smart girl!
ReplyDeleteLulu: "The bathroom is always the safest place in the house if you ask me. That's where I go when something worries me ― usually the base blowing stuff up, but every once in a while we get some pretty strong winds, too."
ReplyDeleteWe heard sleet falling very early Friday morning (like 2am early! Yipes!) It wasn't scary and we went back to sleep. When we got up at a more civilized hour, everything outside was covered in snow.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, Molly!
That's a perfect safe space Molly.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear you were scared of the noisy sleet, but it was nice of your mom to let you stay in the tub where you felt safe.
ReplyDeleteI wiggle in solidarity for you -
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have noisy sleet but I do find comfort in the tub -
And it doesn't even have to be bad weather - Mom forgot her tumbler the other day so she came back in to get it - I had already retreated to the bathroom for I greeted her walking down the hall -

Molly, I've been following your blog for a little while now and just wanted to say how much I enjoy your posts! You're a very smart girl to hide in the tub!
ReplyDeleteHow cute. June gets in the tub too, but only when her Mom is taking a shower! Silly cat.
ReplyDeleteOh Molly it is good if you can find a nice place to hang out whilst things are scary. Mom always puts a bath towel in the bottom of the bath when I am in there to stop me slipping or scratching the bottom. I hope you are having a better Monday. Hugs & Love, Susie & Treacle xx
ReplyDeleteMorgan used to hide from storms in the bathtub. But when in her old age she decided she wanted to sleep in the tub, Mom started shutting the doors. We were afraid she'd fall during the night plus some of the other dogs decided it looked like fun and having eight dogs in the tub isn't a good idea.
ReplyDeleteAWWWW sleet is always scary and slippery! The horses even fall when there is ice in the fields.
