We found Toadflax on our walk~

And we found this pretty bloom in Mr Todd's driveway.

Another one of mom's new Foxgloves is in bloom in her garden☺

The Lavender is in bloom and the bees are loving it!

We are trying to outsniff each other!

National Selfie Day

 Guess who is here for the week?      You can't see her, but my friend, Maggie, the chocolate Lab is up ahead.   Mackie was nice to her but he scared off Carlie, the Doodle and Gumbeaux, the Poodle.  Too bad, Mackie.  You would have liked them too.

Look what we found.   Mom hasn't seen a crawfish since she left Louisiana.

She looked it up and it really is a crawfish!

Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy again this week for Nature Friday~~

We met Maggie the Chocolate Lab and Carlie the Goldendoodle along our walk this week!

We neglected to tell you, but mom planted two Butterfly bushes this spring.    You know about Miss Molly, which is budded but the buds haven't burst into color yet.  The other bush is Miss Violet~

We discovered another Peony in full flower!

The honeysuckle is flowering and the scented Aire is fabulous!

Miss Dotty's Evening Primrose is in bloom~

And the Spiderwort is blooming away~

Landlord Bob's Clematis is in full gorgeous bloom!

Nature Friday

 We are joining Rosy this week for Nature Friday~~

The wild roses are in bloom and mom says our walks smell heavenly!

Miss Dotty's purple Dutch Iris is so pretty!

The Peonies are opening~

At home, we have two Poppies blooming away~

Our Moonshine Yarrow is cheerfully flowering.

This picture is a joke.   Mom has me sitting next to daisies that match my daisy collar only you can't see my collar☺

Molly Monday

 We had quite an exciting Saturday and Sunday!

Landlord Bob and his son-in-law were here and they pruned the copper beech tree and they put all of this brush right where I normally pee!

On Sunday morning, as we left for our walk, the yard was still a total disaster.

But by noon,  there wasn't a branch or leaf mess in sight.  

Mom and I call this tree "nature's umbrella" because we could leave the porch and I could do business and I never got wet if we didn't have heavy blowing rains.     I don't think our tree will be nature's umbrella any longer, mom but we think there may be less of those nasty sharp prickly pods for me to step on come August and September.  Time will tell~~

What a difference it makes inside the house.   Mom can see the dust  even better now and the windows need to be washed AGAIN and she says that sunglasses are needed inside the kitchen.   This tree truly got quite the groomies!

The Bearded Irises are blooming!

The Dutch Iris is blooming!

Mom bought a new Oriental Poppy this year.  Actually, she bought two of them but the other one isn't blooming just yet.  

She bought two Foxgloves and this one is flowering first~

Landlord Bob's roses are in bloom.   The roses are actually more red than this photo shows.   Mom buried her nose in the blooms and there is no scent 😞

I got my furs groomed and I am much cooler!
