We had quite an exciting Saturday and Sunday!
Landlord Bob and his son-in-law were here and they pruned the copper beech tree and they put all of this brush right where I normally pee!
On Sunday morning, as we left for our walk, the yard was still a total disaster. But by noon, there wasn't a branch or leaf mess in sight.Mom and I call this tree "nature's umbrella" because we could leave the porch and I could do business and I never got wet if we didn't have heavy blowing rains. I don't think our tree will be nature's umbrella any longer, mom but we think there may be less of those nasty sharp prickly pods for me to step on come August and September. Time will tell~~
What a difference it makes inside the house. Mom can see the dust even better now and the windows need to be washed AGAIN and she says that sunglasses are needed inside the kitchen. This tree truly got quite the groomies!
Happy Monday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
That was a very exciting weekend Molly. Comparable to Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations here in the UK, maybe!
ReplyDeleteWow - what a weekend it WAS for you - I think that deserves asparagus!
ReplyDeleteWe just couldn't pass up getting two of the bunches at White Clover Farm - normally $4 but on special for $6 for two!
Come by The Khottage for some!

ReplyDeleteCrikey, a full short back and sides cut, then? Pros and cons aside, it looks very tidy. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
that looks very good... nd we are suprised how fast all the mess was gone... our dad needs weeks and months for that...
ReplyDeleteGood Golly Molly Bob and his son in law were busy beavers...in all sense of the word.
ReplyDeleteBright morning sun will be nice especially in the winter.

Giving plants and trees a proper haircut can make a huge difference. Enjoy all the new light.
ReplyDeleteI like sun inside. I can see the dog hair on the floor when I open the door for the breeze. Then I have to vacuum! Enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteYou're so beautiful, Miss Molly. Your landlord takes care of business and that's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI linked you to Awww Mondays as always.
Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your mom. ♥
First you with a summertime trim, now the tree!! Glad your potty spot is clear of the debris. If you are like me, I like a clean bathroom!!
ReplyDeleteLove your profile image at the end today Molly!!

Your iris from Friday was perfect. They are Lady's favourite, but she hasn't planted any. Having lived through a horrible tree and branch stealing storm, you may be grateful in some weather to be missing some branches, even if you have to get a little wet and realize the windows need a wash (ours always do!) ReplyDeleteCongratulations. It looks lovely
ReplyDeleteMolly, Mom says that when one completes one project around the house, it seems to just show another one that needs to be done:). Happy Monday to you and Mom too!!!
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Better da tree than thee.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Wait, so it's possible to wash the windows in the house? Has anyone told my Mama and Dada this?"
