Tuesday Thinking

These are apple leaves that mom raked yesterday.   Last week was a bust for raking.  It was way too windy and cold.   This week is more mild and less breezy.

This coming Thursday, Mitch would have been sixteen years old.   He sure loved apples♥
How we miss him♥
We sure did have fun times together, didn't we, Mitch♥
Love ya lots and lots♥

I think Mitch was the first K9 friend we knew who ate Apples... and we know he was the apple of your eyes and Mom's
Plenty to rake around here but thankfully most of our leaves that leave the trees are in the back natural area. We leave them there too. Whew no wonder the English languages is so hard, leave has with 3 meanings. I leave you with a fond love you lots too

  6. Sorry, but my comment has little to do with the pictures or your message ... I first hopped over because I was sure the headline said "Tuesday Tinkling" and I though, "oh Molly ~ what did you do?" ... sorry, I think new reading glasses are now on my shopping list!
However, apartment life now means no raking of leaves, yet I miss it a little. There was a certain smell, a pleasant one and the sounds of them crunching together that really spoke to autumn, it was good.

  8. I remember Mitch. My first bi black Gryffon was born today; he's been gone for many years now. He was just 7 and 1/2 when he passed.

  9. Glad you managed to get some leaves up. Most of ours are down now and we managed to get them up and into the recycling bin for garden rubbish. Dear Mitch such a sweet face and a wonderful sixteen, the best is that you have pictures to remember them by. You look wonderful Molly in your Autumn collar and surveying the world in the Winter sunshine. We had a sunny day here today which was so nice after two days of rain we also had a frost this morning. Hugs & Love, Susie & Coco xxx

  12. Hi friend, Ojo here! So many leaves! I bet they had good smells in them! I love apples too! I also miss Mitch. I am sure he was bouncing in the leaves and sniffing for apples, even if you couldn't see him!

  15. Chaplin: "Hello, Mitch! Good to see you again!"
Charlee: "We hope you get some delicious apples and apple pie for your birthday over the Rainbow Bridge!"
Chaplin: "Just don't let Tucker near it or he'll gobble it up when you're not looking."
Charlee: "Well if he does, that's all right, there's an endless supply of it all at the Everlasting Rainbow Bridge Buffet."
