A Totally Unexpected Treat

Mom and dad had Pepe's Pizza Thursday at the restaurant in New Haven and they brought leftovers home plus a crust for each of us!
We love greeting them as they walk through the back door carrying a box that looks just like this!But look what mom had in store for us!
OMG, are you serious?!
Pizza on our dindin?!Mom put the camera down for a minute while she put our dishes down in front of us and well, it's a good thing she took a picture before hand because as you can see it's down the hatch!
Mitch and I are both licking our bowls clean!
Make sure you save me a swig of that O'Drool's Mitch!
And for dessert we shared the last of mom's cup of ice cream!What a perfect day we had!

    We LOVE pizza- especially Martha who even manages to drool if someone walks by her in the street with a yummy smelling pizza box!

    Oh my Dogness!! Pizza. I haven't even seen a crst of pizza in a veryloooong time but then Mommy hasn't had any either.

    Mommy and I are spending the weekend at home and just chillin.

    Have a good weekend. It is to hot during the day to play to sit outside during the day for Mommy so she says we can go outside after it gets dark and she'll let me have a popsickle. How much longer until it gets dark?

    Pizza is the best!!! We all had some of the crust from Dad's last night too. AND we also got a small taste of his ice cream - Dad is so good to us - he gives everything that Mom won't let us have:)

    Wow yum!!!!! I haven't had pizza yet but I'm bugging mom and dad for a taste some day(?). A few days ago, Mom got me some doggie frozen yoghurt and I get some of that after my dinner and it is GOOD! I want to thank you for your kind words about Terra - means a lot. We miss her, but she's watching over us. Keep bugging ma and dad for more 'za - that's what I'm doing!

    Oh .. Pizza..
    My hooman never let me eat pizza.. they only gave me the crust(only thr crust) they said it's too salty for me (as my hair always dropping)

    Thank you for stopping by my mama's blog when we had to say goodbye to my Golden brother Achilles. I miss him lots. He's in doggie heaven, but I wish he were here with me again.

    Oh boy, when I read your post I ran over to tell my human daddy! Did you know that he is from Stratford, CT? And the FIRST place he goes when he visits home is PEPE'S PIZZA!!! You guys are sooooo lucky to have had Pepe's for din-din. Yummmm!

    You were RIGHT! We loved meeting Stanley and Stella! All those sniffs and smells and scritches and scratches and even the yakking and yakking was a highlight of our trip! Not to speak of the memories. Now Moma and the Nina-Girl are talking about a loooonnnng road trip someday. It was great fun!
