It's true colors Thursday once again! If you want to play, let our hostess Miss Blue know! It's great fun!
Today's color is ivory!
This ivory-colored ditty box is fake scrimshaw!
And this whale's tooth is the real deal! Dad bought it one year on our vacation on Nantucket! The tooth sits in a tiger maple Airedale dish that mom carved! Mom hasn't carved in FOREVER and she sure does miss it! This dolly is wearing an ivory-colored dress! This carved ivory necklace belonged to my nana, who unfortunately never met me!
This harpsichord is in the dollhouse! It has ivory-colored keys! This ivory elephant belonged to our nonna! Next week is black and tan! whoooooooohoooooooooo
That should be oodles of fun!
So until next time..................
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Oh my goodness look at the tiny little elephant. How cute is that!

Because there is a doughnut there.
It comes to want to eat.
Whale's teeth were seen for the first time.
The picture of a detailed whale is very interesting.
Incidently, the piano was an ivory.
A beautiful melody makes sunburn toward the black. :D

Hi M & M,
ReplyDeleteMommy just loved all the pictures of the Poppys and the different colors of the lupines. Is it ok to use a pic of Autumn with the poppys and one of the lupines. Are those growing in your yard? Mommy never knew what those were until now.

All very beautiful and when I saw the doll's dress it reminded me of my daughter's doll Emily, who also has an ivory colored dress. I liked the doll house the best!
ReplyDeleteI miss playing True Colors.. sigh.
ReplyDeleteAnyone think of taking pics of doggie teeth? That's close to ivory depending on the teeth.
Love,
Rudy
We especially like the whale tooth and the ivory elephant.
ReplyDeleteWe want to give you an award. Mom is "in training" and goofed up. To find it you will need to look under May 8. With practice on these kinds of things, she will probably get better at it. Thank you for visiting our blog. We enjoy yours.
