Half Groomies

Mom said that my fur has been getting way too long and she has been racking her brain trying to decide how best to give me a hAirecut. 

I can't climb the stairs - my legs just won't let me anymore and that's where the grooming room is and my dad is feeling better since his hospital stay but he's not 100% yet and his back has been bothering him so dad can't possibly carry me up and down the stairs and mom tried it once and it wasn't the smartest thing that she ever did so that's out.

She decided that today we would put down my grooming rugs on the laundry room floor and she would groom only my head and tomorrow would be my body and we'd do my legs after that.

I don't look so bad, right?
I can stay this way, right, mom?
 Why do you have that horrified look on your face, Mitch?   I think I look A-ok!

 She says that I can't stay this way!  Bummer!

No one is laughing at me half groomed, right?

    We're not even half groomed - that was Mom's plan for yesterday and today - to get us groomed, but her stooooopid washer broke and she had to go get a new one - and it's involving moving everything in our house - BOL!! At this very moment, Mom doesn't even know where Lilly is.

    hi Maggie, we say that the less grooming is the best grooming. so then being half groomed is better than being completely groomed! at least that's what we hope for. we would rather have NO GROOMING. oh well, it never works out that way.

    Oh boy. Do we understand about needing to be groomed! (Remember us, by the way? It's been FOREVER since Moma let us visit!) Jake's tripping on his paw furs and can barely see through hie eyebrows and my neck is bigger than a football player's! But ... we think it'll still be a while before much happens in the grooming department. That's no surprise. EVERYTHING around here is way behind schedule. We just lucked out with this task!

    You look beautiful Maggie. Mom is afraid to give Bentley George or me a haircut yet. We had a nice week but she wants to be sure and wait alittle longer. Meanwhile, I, Sinny, am as wooly a dog as you have ever seen. Bentley is in need too, but mom says we wait....she also says the way that aire boy likes to play bity face all the time I may miss the wool when it goes. He is one mouthy puppy...
