Lenny

One of our oldest and dearest friends has crossed the bridge  - our pal, Lenny.
 Lenny and I were the same age and his birthday was 2 days after mine so I always called him my twin and hoped that one day we could meet and maybe share our birthdays together.

We did meet - only it was about a month past both of our birthdays. 
 Lenny was a real gentleman and a real charmer.   Mom fell instantly in love with him and so did we.   His mom and dad are the sweetest hoomans ever and our hearts ache for them. 
 This is one of our very favorite pictures of Lenny. 

We will never forget you, Lenny.  You will be a special friend to us always.
Not a birthday will go by when we don't think of you.
God speed, Lenny.

    That is one of OUR favorite pictures of Lenny too! He was always smiling! We know Poppy was there to greet him when he got to the bridge! RIP, Lenny!

    Oh I feels so sorry for Lenny's family!! We are working so hard to keep are girls alive and well but our time is coming too!! I hate that!! It can happen out of the blue!! I don't know I will do when I lose Bambi!!

    We heard of this yesterday and it made us so sad. I really love that picture of him with his stuffies - you can hardly tell he's there!

    We didn't know Lenny but we read all about him at Asta's yesterday. It sure seems like he was one very special boy. We are so very sorry for his family and for you as his good furiends.

    It's always so sad to hear of another dog heading over the bridge, even when we didn't know them. But we're sure he had a fantastic life here.

    Our sincere condolences to the parents of dear Lenny. And what beautiful tributes both you and Asta wrote-he must have been a real sweetheart. That picture of him with the stuffed toys is probably THE most adorable picture I've ever seen-he really looks like he's laughing!
