Our One Thousandth Post

We have been blogging for over 4 years and we are just now at our 1000 post!

We thought it might be fun to go back into our archives and see what was happening at post #100 and #200 and #300, etc.

In May 2007, we were heading to Wentworth's for ice cream on post #100!  
Hey, Mitch, you were only 6 months old in this picture and I was 8!
How many times have we been to Wentworth's since then?  TONS!

We were enjoying dad's pina colada birthday cake in this picture for post #200!    yummmmm

It's April 2008, and we were just hanging out and playing and passing the time!  You're still just as stingy now with OUR toys as you were then, Mitch!
Dad was in Maine raising a barn and a cupola in post #400!

Mom made Miss Autumn an Airedale purse for post #500!

Post #600 was my 11th birthday and this special birthday card was from our dear sweet friend, Asta! 
Many of you know that mom and I share the same birthday.  We think it's pretty darn special!


Post #700 is all about Mitch and his special furry heart that is very noticeable right after he gets his Airecut!  Can you see it?
We were playing TrueColoursThursday in post #800!  The color was coffee!  We miss True Colors. That was sure fun!
Mom made us homemade applesauce for post #900!  Mitch was in his glory because apples are his very favorite fruit on the face of this earth!


It's taken us over four years to reach 1000 posts but it's been such a fun ride! We've met so many fabulous friends over the years - some of them no longer blog but there are so many of you who do and we love reading your posts every day and peeking into your lives and keeping up with your daily adventures.

We started our post with ice cream and now we invite all of you to have a spoonful of ice cream with us!

    Happy 1000th post! You're right...a lot of doggies don't blog anymore. We always wonder what happened to them, but some of them are on FB, so we know they are okay.

    The ice cream looks yummy! Our mom's favorite is Mayfield Extreme Moose Tracks! We can't have any 'cause it's triple chocolate!

    Wow, 1000 posts. That's a lot. We're coming up on #600 pretty soon.

    We get to lick ice cream off the dish sometimes when Mom and Dad eat it, but after we go to the vet we go to the ice cream store and get a scoop just for each of us. It's vanilla, but that's OK. Most of us lick it slowly to make it last, but Samba picks hers up and swallows it in one gulp, so Mom makes her eat it from a spoon.
