Canaan

Guess where we were yesterday?  In Canaan, Connecticut! 
Mom and dad took a ride to look at these and decided to come home with them.  Now we'll have even cleaner beds!


Mom says Canaan is absolutely gorgeous and she'd have no problem living there~
She can't seem to get Carole King's "Been to Canaan" out of her head!

But that's not the exciting part. The exciting part is that for the very first time we got to eat at a MacDonalds!  Can you see the Golden Arches on the window?
We are psyched!
 So this is a sausage McMuffin!  Make sure I get the bigger half, dad~
 Dad cut everything into bite-sized pieces and we ate like Kings and Queens!
How come you get to eat first, Mitch?
 Senior ladies should always go first! That's a law, I think. 
 And we had drinks of water out of a MacDonald's cup!
What a fun day this was!

    Great washer and dryer! It's fun to get brand-spankin new appliances (PU says front load washers are fabulous!)

    Hi Maggie and Mitch: Wow, you guys are getting great treats. We haven't been to McDonald's but it sure does look good. It must be the time of year because a few weeks ago, my mom and dad came home with a new washer and dryer too. They are bright red. And they use way less water and make way less noise.

    If we are lucky, we get tidbits of McD's from the little bipeds if Mom gets them McD's takeout. We love the chicken nuggets and fries, but we only get a small taste.

    Mom has the Bosch washer and dryer and absolutely loves them. The only thing she doesn't like is that the wash takes a lot longer to complete the full cycle than the top load. But the clothes hold up so much better without all the agitating. Good luck with yours.

    We have a "stuffie washer" that looks a lot like yours! It spins at 1400 rpm, so Mom had it moved to the garage where it could be on a concrete surface. When it was in the computer room, the screen looked like a blur whenever it spun!

    You went to MickeyD's? How cool is that? Sometimes our mom goes there, but we never get to go and she never brings us back any doggie bags! Soooo not fair!
