Dad's Friend

Look what dad's friend dropped off while he was at one of his doctor appointments~
It's a whole case of chocolate gelato!
 One of dad's problems was that his protein was too low so he has been eating lots of protein so that he can heal and get back to his old self! 
This gelato has 15 grams of protein in one of these containers.
 We were checking out the website and we see that they have six different flavors.  Why couldn't our freezer be full of vanilla or ginger or lemon or mint or strawberry?   Anything but chocolate!
Mom and dad sit there eating ice cream in front of us and they tell each other how happy they are to be eating healthy!  Do you think this is fair?

Our dad is on the mend and he's doing wonderfully!  He still has a bit of fluid in his legs but other than that, he's doing VERY well!    It must be all of the gelato!

That's some smart bike there, our human has always been a motorcyclist but SHE talked him into a car after an accident, we do notice he's kept all his biker gear though so it's only a matter of time ;-) Dex & Lou x

    What are gelato? We've never seen or had any of those before. They must be quite tasty. I agree with you. Why chocolate? But I think a tiny bit of it won't hurt you guys. We sometimes get very small pieces of choco stuff just for taste.

    We are soooooo glad your dad is doing better! That looks like a heck of a supply of gelato! Of course, being chocolate flavor, it wouldn't last long at our house! Our mom is a choco-holic!

    P.S. I would love to live in the country like you guys...the walks I could go on...the scents...But my humans say we need to live in the city so that they can earn a living to buy me food...sigh...

    So glad your human is feeling better. It is tough when they aren't well. The worry, the concern, the stress that we fourlegged ones have to endure.....

    I don't know what I would do if my human got real sick....So take good care of him and tell him the rest of us are thinking of him.

    And wow, do you get to ride the big red moving contraption with him. Pretty cool.

    I get to go on the ATV with Vickie but I don't like it. I would rather run on my own four legs.

    We are so glad to hear that Uncle George is doing better. Now about that Gelato - we think Ginger would be a great flavor - maybe you should talk your Peeps into ordering a variety package.

    Wow - that sounds so good. My Mom also has this problem of not getting enough protein - she was even suffering with with protein malnutrition at one point. Her problem is she can't have sugar either - otherwise she would ordering and devouring gallons of the gelato !! I am so glad your dad is feeling better - that is wonderful news and yes - I think chocolate should not be allowed - any other flavors would be most welcome

    You has to be kiddin' me! But we can't eat chocolate...maybe dat was da whole point.
    Greek yogurt has 14-15 grams of protein...just in case he needs a change of food.
