Crumpie Update

We haven't posted about Crumpie's in a long while because honestly, it's been too messy over there for pictures.  The sheetrockers did their thing and the walls are now painted and we have been bringing tools home that are no longer needed and trying to tidy up.  It's coming along~~

You can see that baseboard has been finished on this wall.    The finished floors won't go down until after the first of the year sometime.

There are a LOT of them!

 Molly gets creative when mom and dad are busy and can't always be throwing the ball for her to catch.   She goes up to the second floor and pushes her ball off the landing. She watches where it lands on first floor, races downstairs and retrieves it for herself and plays the game all over again. She amuses herself quite well.  She's a nutcase!

 My favorite spot to supervise is on the stair landing.  I can see everything from here!

We LOVE weekdays at Crump's.  We have so much fun going to work with mom and dad and we hope that it NEVER ends!

Weathervane Wednesday

Dad's Indian motorcycle friend, Brenda, surprised our mom with an Airedale weather vane on Saturday. 

We think it's just beautiful and it works beautifully! Thank you, Brenda!

I'm Sorry

Yes, I did that. I put that ugly bruise on mom's chin.  
She was saying good morning to Mitch and it was time to eat and I wanted her to focus on the important stuffs like FOOD plus I was jealous so what did I do?
I came up underneath mom's chin and gave her a hard shot.   She did say ouch and she did forgive me.

I'm sorry, mom.  Do you still love me?  Can we still play ball?!

Mom's Latest Projects

We are anxiously waiting for autumn and pumpkins here.  It's our favorite time of the year!
Mom decided that she needed to make a pumpkin candle mat. 
It's a pumpkin pie candle mat! Can you tell that's a pie in the center?

And mom also just finished knitting a pair of fingerless mittens.    Your paws will be warm this winter, mom!
High five!

It's all about keeping mom busy at night so she doesn't fall asleep at 7 PM!

Pistachio Ice Cream

Dad took us to Durham for ice cream - FINALLY!  We have been waiting FOREVER!

Monster Cuc

Look what dad found in our vege garden!  It's a fat foot long cuc, Molly!

 I don't want to share it with you. I want it all to myself!

 This is pretty yummy, Mitch.  You don't know what you're missing!

 We just picked our very first tomato of the season a couple of days ago. 

 We sure do love our veges!

ChurpiChews

Mom came home from the store with treats for us that we've never had before.  They're called ChurpiChews.

 The label says that they are hard and long-lasting~

 And the label says that dogs absolutely love them.
We did love them but they only lasted us about 1/2 hour and they were gone completely.   So much for long-lasting!

Mom has been waiting to capture a picture of a butterfly on her phlox  ☺

 And she snapped a picture of a hummingbird moth on the phlox too!

 And she always waits for the swallowtail butterflys to visit her butterfly bushes!

Molly Is a Fraidy Cat

You're not going to believe this but Molly is afraid of an innocent basket of our chew bones!
Yes you, Molly! Don't look so surprised!

This is our basket of chew bones - nylabones and antlers.  It's been sitting in this spot next to our TV forever!

I have no problem going over to the basket and picking one out of the basket to chew on .
Mom made it even easier for Molly. She dumped the basket on its side and has the bones falling out!   Who could possibly be afraid of this?!

 Are you kidding me?  Come on, Molly.  Stop being a fraidy cat!

What she does is sit in front of the basket and pathetically whines until mom feels sorry for her and gets up and ...........

Well - see for yourself.

I'm Stylin'

I'm stylin' in my tennis ball collar with my new tag!
My tennis ball tag has my name and phone number carved  in on the flip side. 

Mom said that my tennis ball collar was dirty because I keep going outside and throwing myself on the ground on bunny poo and roaching.  It's fun!

How does my tennis ball tag look with my purple collar?  Pretty stylish and loud, huh!
