Remember this? This is the knitting project that mom took with her to Gram's house to stay busy at night so she wouldn't fall asleep during Anderson Cooper~
The baby sweater is for the "bun" who will be born sometime in early May.
It's almost the right size for you, Teddy. Gee, what happened to your other eye and to your nose? Mom says that I removed them when I was just a pup! Can that really be true?
We don't know if "bun" is a girl or a boy so we had fun with the buttons.
Mom loves knitting baby sweaters. She says they take just long enough to complete~
Love ya lots♥

It's great to kinit for an expected baby. Making something that will clothe the baby with love when it comes.
ReplyDeleteOh my word, dat is a BEAUTIFUL little sweater. It is even more specials cuz it was hand made. Dat little baby sure is already loved.

VERY nice sweater! And your Mom is SPEEDY when it comes to making sweaters. Our Granny is INFAMOUS for taking forever to make a sweater; they are always nice, but if she started a sweater for a 'bun', she'd have to make it to fit a four year-old, as that's how old the 'bun' would be by the time our Granny got it done! On the other hand, our Granny is super speedy with the embroidery machine (which is what WE are interested in) so it's ok!

oh that is so cute and lovely :DD
ReplyDeleteNice sweater. Maybe your mom should knit stuff for furry kids. I'm still wearing my blue and my red socks and people have commented on how nice they look. A sweater line for furry kids could be really nice and a great business for your mom.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, knitting for a bun.
ReplyDeleteEven though our mom is now a grandmom, she doesn't have a clue as to how to do that, but she totally admires someone who does!!!
Wirey love,

Oh, that's just so cute! I agree about the time taken to make baby sweaters. They happen quickly so no chance of getting fed up! I love the coloured buttons! We hope your 2014 is a happy, peaceful and contented year! Ros and Oscar

Sweet little sweater for a sweet little human puppy! My momma doesn't knit, but her sister and cousin crochet. Mom decided to try it and see what the fuss was about. It didn't go over well. BOL

Such an adorable sweater, it will be perfect!
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
Such a cute little sweater.
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is beautiful and will be perfect whether the bun is a boy or a girl. Mom thinks knitted items are so much nicer than crocheted, but she still needs to learn to knit a whole lot better before she could tackle a beautiful sweater like that.
