Eight Inches

We got eight inches of cold fluffy snow yesterday!
Does my nose look crooked to you?
It's probably frozen!  It's only 10 degrees outside right now and the sun is shining and it's the peak of the afternoon.   Mom and dad don't even want to think about what the lows are going to be tonight!  brrrrrrrr
Molly appears to be frozen in place~~
And because it's so cold out, we can only be outside for a VERY short period of time or we will lift our feets for mom to dust off the snow because they begin to freeze!
The black swans have a heat light inside their swan cottage and they are smart enough to let themselves in at night.   Dad doesn't even feed them outside any more. He feeds them inside to encourage them to go in.
Penny, Margaret and Angel Whooper have lots of company on this very frigid day~
For all of the peeps who are once again in this deep freeze - stay warm!

Love ya lots♥

  15. Some snow is fun for dog-play but 10 degrees is too, too cold. Brrrr! By comparison, the water probably feels warm to the birds.

  16. We're so jealous of all this snow! It's been in the low 40s here - sunny and beautiful, but not doing much for a our snow. We might have to pay you a visit! (10 degrees is okay with us... it's the negative numbers that make us a little chilly!)

  19. I'm so sorry to hear you are enduring such cold weather. I'm glad the black swans have heat, because they wouldn't know how to deal with freezing temperatures, I guess.

That is a wonderful photo of all the birds together on the water.

  22. Your temperatures are about as chilly as ours. It was 5° this morning and the high was 17°. The temp is 11° and the wind chill factor is -2°.

In NH the temperature is 7° with a wind chill factor of -7°. It is supposed to get down to -5° tonight.
