Turkey Pot Pie

For as long as we can remember, mom has always said that she wanted to make a turkey pot pie from scratch.  Well she finally did!
She found the recipe at allrecipes.com and followed the directions to a "T"~
 She said that for years she ate the nasty store-bought pot pies and they always left her feeling hungry.  Not this one!   It's got carrots and celery and potatoes in it along with lots of turkey!
Dad gave it a 10 and raved about it!  

 I give it a ten too, mom!

I do too!  More please!

 I think you're eating one of my AireCookies, dad.   Did you want to share some of that with me?

We will definitely be making pot pie again.  Maybe next time, we'll make it chicken instead of turkey or maybe beef ☺

    We will definitely have mama check it out! Mama absolutely LOVES pot pies!! The homemade ones are the BEST!! Last year for Christmas, we received two lobster pot pies as gifts from Harry & David...they were awesome! If only our mama could cook...Happy Tuesday guys!

    Sounds yummy!!!! Our Mom did a photo shoot this weekend for a woman with a 14 year-old black lab (she was looking for a present for her husband, and Mom is a softie for old dogs and Christmas...), and the woman tipped her with a couple of pounds of ground elk meat. OMD! Mom made dog-friendly meat loaf with it, and wowzer! It was a big hit with both of us as well as Mom and Dad. We totally hope Mom works for this woman again, and she gets more elk!

    we use that All Recipes. com thingy a LOT... they have great ones fur EVERYTHINGY...

    Your mom gets the GOLDEN CRUST STAR fur this one though.

    Oh yes....thats good stuff....Our Mom makes it...but the sad part is, it omly happens with Thanksgiving left overs (Thats one a year), such a lazy Peep!
