The package says that the treats work naturally and they're not a sedative and that they help manage everyday stress and behavioral issues. That's you, Molly!
The active ingredients are Thiamine, Colostrum Calming Complex and L-Theanine. There are also inactive ingredients contained in each little treat.
The treats are small chewy bones - only about an inch long.
And they are a yummy chicken liver taste☺
You give 1 treat chew daily but you can double or triple the dose in times of increased stress.
We have a situation here right this very minute. There is a fly in our house and Molly is going nutty!
She is standing in front of the door asking to go out because she feels that it's not safe inside our house at this time. You can see that her tail is down. She is not smiling - she is frightened.
Mom decided to give her a triple dose of the calming treats to see if they would calm Molly down.
Lots of times when Molly is very scared, she won't accept a treat. She just runs in fear - but this time she did accept 3 treats. We think the chicken liver flavor won her over.
The treats are working for me just fine, mom. I'm calm and very relaxed. I think I'll stay here for the rest of the day.
This is Molly a half hour after eating the calming treats. She is still nervous. One of our dog beds has been turned upside down and the bathroom throw rugs are messed up.
Mom decided to put a bandana on Molly that's been doused with lavender oil. This is an hour after taking the calming treats. We're not sure if it's the lavender or the calming treats but Molly is doing a whole lot better!
Thank you, Miss Sydney for sending the Calming treats by Pet Naturals of Vermont. We will be using them again for sure!
So until next time..........
Love ya lots♥
Mitch and Molly

We just might have to try these for Lightning as he still has a lot of fears, especially a fear of bicycles. Guess Mom could pack a pocketful of those calming treats when we are out walking. Thanks for telling us about them.

ReplyDeleteTime to kill the fly...but we're glad that Molly is okay now.
ReplyDeleteDo you think they'd work on a Scottie cause I too fear flies. I think they are evil and I have to hide under the covers.

Oh goodness! Poor girl! I'm glad she's better. Daisy used to get scared of flies when we first had her. She's finally actually gotten over it. When you have horses there are flies. I'm so glad she is ok.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad when they are in distress like that! I'm glad the treats and oils worked!
BTW I couldn't help but notice that quilt on the bed. I'd love a home tour!
