It's been three years since Maggie went to Rainbow Bridge and not a day goes by that we don't think of her.
We're watching over Baby for you, and Margaret for you and bikini babe and your maroon pocketbook and all of your Mr Carrots, Maggie!

I know ...feel the same way here with Pip. Hopefully, Maggie and Pip are somewhere eating cheeseburgers and running and playing like young pups.
ReplyDeletemy goodness - three years already - it doesn't seem that long.
ReplyDeleteThat is sweet to remember Maggie and we know she is greatly missed. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
She would be so pleased you're looking after her toys. We think about our Miss Ginger and Old Charisma dog all the time.
ReplyDeleteWe miss you too, Maggie! I know she has lots of pals at the Bridge, including my bro, Angel Jake. But we still miss her here on earth.
ReplyDeleteWirey love,

Hi S, thousand yard stares. We know them well. They are made of memories of times gone by. Of friends, family and loves that have slipped away. They leave an ache in your heart. A subtle but never ending sadness. Sometimes we can "see" them, off in the distance, just down the road, or around the corner. Waiting for us.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you are caring for her toys. We know she's watching you.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that so much time has gone by. My Tsar, Samba and Sky have been gone for more than two years. Sometimes I expect to see them here beside me.
ReplyDeleteI remember that sad day... so well.
ReplyDeleteBUTT I tend to concentrate on the WONDERFUL MEMORIES that she left for us to cherish...
The memories are bittersweet now, aren't they? It will be five years this May since I lost my Ceilidh and three this Aug since I lost Tucker. Sometimes it seems like it was yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAll those feelings sure are real we feel it to every day

Three years. Like you I have kept the favorite toys and collars of the ones I have had who have gone. We never stop loving them and missing them. Maggie was a special girl and was there for your Mom during some hard times. Our dogs always see us through.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
