Angel Maggie's fabric quilt block is finished.
Mom had no problems working on it but when it came time to take pictures, it was tough. We still miss Maggie so much. The tree tag on her collar was a gift from Velcro and Penny and their fur family. A tree was planted in California in memory of her.
Mom asks me all the time if I remember Maggie and she never really sees a positive response.
So now comes the sashing and putting it all together. Should we joined horizontally or vertically? What color sashing will work best? Molly votes for purple!
But wait! What is this? A fourth block?
What we want to know is how did JH know? Just Harry commented last week that, "We can't wait to see the 4 of them together." We didn't even have the pen to paper yet - it was still just a thought. We think it was angel Maggie and angel Jake sending messages down from Rainbow Bridge♥
Stay tuned.....................
Love ya lots♥

it is going to be pawsome when it is all finished.

ReplyDeleteLovely quilt block. I think that variegated green fabric behind it is just right, and it makes me think of that tree growing in California. Do you know what kind of tree it is?

Dear Mitch and Molly,
ReplyDeleteMaggie's block is very beautiful. You may not remember her totally, but I am sure you can feel her all the time, especially taking care of your mom. Angel Dogs are very good at that, and they are very special!
Licks,
Cobi
Its very beautiful and mom says that they all remember and loved Maggie.

It's going to be so very beautiful. I think a bronze-like brown would make a beautiful border, kind of like the fabric on the Mitch and Maggie block.
ReplyDeleteHi M & M,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your note on my horse-and-farrier painting. The encouragement is great! I had reached something of a block, but I think I've figured out to how to make it better. :)

In my heart I feel Mitch definitely remembers Maggie. I think he does not respond because he knows she is safe at the Rainbow Bridge. Why Maggie always gave him treats out of the bubble gum machine that he never learned to work. Your blocks are beautiful and full of love. A another block, well we will stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
