Flower Friday

We're joining up with Dory again for Flower Friday~~

Dad went with a friend to a patternmaker's shop not long ago.  He didn't come home with any tools but he did get garden statues for mom.

 A squirrel bird bath?
 You're kidding, right!
 Perennial bachelor button~
This flower is called a corn cockle!
The astilbe is coming into bloom~
The day lilies are so cheerful☺
Mom doesn't know what this plant is.  It was planted before we  moved here and it gets ripped out a lots but it still keeps on coming  back.  It's weedy looking before it blooms but once it has flowers on it, it's very pretty.
 Another cheerful day lily☺
The cone flowers are sure vibrant!
 Have a fantastic Friday, everybody!
So until next time...........

Love ya lots♥

  4. The last ones the best. But I love the statues. I bet the squirrel is drivin' them nuts. We have lots of squirrels in our little neighborhood. Lots of green space. That is one of the things we liked about these apartments. I love your beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing them. I am going back to the closet now. Hehe. Have a good day.

  7. That little girl is such a sweet addition to the garden. Maybe that squirrel bird bath will keep the real squirrels away:)

Nothing quite like a good roll in the cool grass - enjoy.

  8. The brighter, the better. And the birdies will be very happy with that bath, squirrel or no squirrel.

  9. A squirrel in the birdbath! We have one too but ours is a live moving destructive squirrel and we like to chase him out of his bath.

  10. Those statues sure are nice looking! Mom was eyeballing some at a garden center the other day that were 'really cute' according to her. All those flowers are looking very pretty. Summer is such a wonderful, colorful time of year!

  16. Have I already mentioned that day lily buds are edible? They taste to me like broccoli when lightly fried. Make sure they're day lilies, though. Other lilies are dangerous. It makes life interesting to gamble on the difference, lol.
