Our Maggie has been gone for 5 years already. How can that be?
This is Maggie on her 11th Birthday. She lived to be 13.5 years old.
Maggie was the only Airedale in our family that could grow a beard long enough to braid!
This photo was taken in April of 2011.
We thought that it might be fun to join Maggie and Mitch!
How we wish that we could have met Maggie!
Love ya lots♥

Sweet Maggie, we remember that girl fondly. And yes, we still have her 'mittens' on display. Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI can't believes it's been 5 years! OMD, DON'T GIVES MA ANY IDEAS ABOUTS BRAIDING MY BEARD!!!!! She says she is so happy that I have it, cause it's the only way she is able to groom my face...she calls it a 'handle'! Kinda rude, I thinks, butts whatevers.
ReplyDeleteAngel Maggie and I are lots alike, I thinks! ☺
Sendin' lots of {{{hugs}}} and 'beard showers'!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
We can't believe it's been 5 years! Losing a family member is so very hard. Our great-brothers shared with us some very fond memories of Maggie!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
It's hard to believe it's been that long since Maggie left. We love how you all are together in you header picture.
ReplyDeleteThis post sure does bring a smile today. The four of you would have made a great team!

ReplyDeleteWe CAN'T believe it has been FIVE YEARS. She was a GRAND GIRRRRRRL fur Sure.
ReplyDeleteIt is shocking that it's been five years. I remember it so well.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great chain of pups. You see, Mitch knew Maggie, and Molly knew Mitch, and Mackie knows Molly so... you are all tied together in a great big chain. A little of Maggie is in both of you.
I hope that you follow our logic. We love having overlaps of the lifetimes of our dogs because we feel like our current dogs have a little of our angels in them.
Lots of love to all of you.
Five years? It seems like yesterday I was reading her blog. A beautiful girl, always remembered.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange how fast time goes by and yet the pain is still raw. You are in my thoughts ♥
ReplyDeleteAnd Angel Maggie is a part of my life too,,, always in our hearts!
