Louis's May Challenge

We participated in Louis's May Blogville Arts and Entertainment Challenge and we chose one of our very favorite stories of all times.
Miss Kate is a longtime friend of our family and she wrote about their family's trip across country from Massachusetts to Washington state.  

 And of course, the main character in the story is angel Maggie and angel Mitch's goodest and bestest friend, Putter♥
We can't tell you how many times we reread this wonderful story. 

 This is one of our very favorite pictures from the book.   Mom made a pillow for Putter because she loves the story so much♥

 And this is angel Putter.    She is now at Rainbow Bridge with Maggie and Mitch.   Putter just celebrated her 13th Birthday on May 18th and we hear that they had chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ice cream to go with it.   You can have that at Rainbow Bridge, ya know☺

Flower Friday

I am joining Jakey this week for flower Friday☺

Mom treated herself to a gardenia for Mother's Day.   She prayed and prayed that all of the buds wouldn't fall off before they opened.   Some did but this one didn't.    The fragrance in our kitchen is incredible!

 The azaleas are still going strong~

 We're not sure what this is but it's sure tall and the leaves are sure huge!

Red Nose Day

Happy Red Nose Day☺

Through the power of entertainment, Red Nose Day raises awareness and money to help the kids who need us most, both at home and around the world.

The money they raise supports projects that ensure kids are safe, healthy, educated, and empowered. Red Nose Day funds programs in all 50 states and in some of the poorest communities in Latin America, Asia and Africa.

 So have some fun☺  And end child poverty at the same time~

All Gone

Mackie had neuter surgicals yesterday and he's recuperating here at my house for a few days.   The doctor says only short leash walkies so no racing around in my funner than fun back yard this time.

He's supposed to be taking it easy and relaxing~~

 Maybe later you might want to play tennis ball, Mackie.

 Take it easy so you get better and we'll save play for next time you visit, Mackie.

Flower Friday

 We are joining angel Dory and her mom for Flower Friday!
 We love taking the camera along on our walkies and trying to find the prettiest flowers☺

 This huge empty house is on busy Whitney Avenue.  It's at the corner where we turn to head up the hill and look for pretty flowers that are blooming.   Wouldn't you love to live here and roll on that beautiful huge lawn?!

 The Alliums are coming into bloom~

 We're not sure what kind of flowers these are but the bush is just loaded with blossoms!

 Yes, mom just LOVES pansies!

The Black and Tan Dry Sink

You probably noticed the new piece of furniture on our Chewy post yesterday.    This in our new black and tan Colebrook dry sink.    Mom seems to really be hooked on the Hitchcock black and tan stuffs!

We can't have black and tan furniture without some black and tans on it!

There is one small problem though.   When it was delivered, the skeleton key that came with it to open the doors on the bottom didn't work.  Mom had to wait for the correct skeleton key to arrive.
In the meantime, she asked dad if he had skeleton keys hanging around~
He did - but none of them unlocked the door.

 Finally, the miracle key arrived!     

 Mom is a happy camper☺

My May Box from Chewy

Miss Natalie from Chewy wrote to us in very early May and asked me which treat I would like to try out and I wrote back and told her Earthborn Holistic EarthBites, please☺

Mom asked me to do an "up" for a treat~

Mom has been feeding me Chewy's American Journey grain-free foodables and I really like it so it was a treat to be able to taste their turkey recipe Oven Baked dog treats!

 They are larger than a quarter and nice and chunky and crunchy!  The ingredients are turkey, peas, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, carrots, pumpkin, apples and blueberry and no corn, wheat or soy.  Best of all - they are made in the USA and yummy, yummy, yummy!

 You want me to do what for one, mom?

 I'm rolling over!    How many treats do I get for this trick, mom?

 They are the perfect fit for my pickle, which Chewy happens to sell too!
