Flower Friday
I am joining Jakey this week for flower Friday☺
Mom treated herself to a gardenia for Mother's Day. She prayed and prayed that all of the buds wouldn't fall off before they opened. Some did but this one didn't. The fragrance in our kitchen is incredible!
The azaleas are still going strong~
We're not sure what this is but it's sure tall and the leaves are sure huge!

What lovely flowers for Friday, I have never seen an iris that colour before it is stunning. Hot again here today so we are hiding inside where it is cool. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Susie & Treacle xx

ReplyDeletehow great that you can enjoy a lot of fabulous gardenia blossoms... the mama has some outside, but they have only 3 leaves and I have some doubts that they ever get a blossosm :O9

ReplyDeleteI really miss the azaleas. When I lived in SC they were everywhere. I planted some in our garden in Maryland too. But here they don't grow well and we seldom see any.

All of the flowers are gorgeous but I LOVE the smell of gardenias. There is a bush down the street and I am so tempted to go into their yard and bury my head in the blooms. LOL!

ReplyDeleteHey gurl! Oh, that gardenia is BEAUTIFULS!!!! Yeah, Ma is a serial killer of gardenias....hehehe She nows says, it's better to leave them in the garden center, so they don't die a slow death BOL! I just knows that your Moms will take very good care of that beautiful plant!
