"Eadie came about as a pet form of the feminine name Edith, but is now found used as a name in its own right. The name is said to mean ‘Ambitious for Wealth’ and is of Old English origin. Use of the pet name Eadie may have been spurred in the 60’s when American actress and model Eadie Sedgwick, became famous from starring in several of artist Andy Warhol’s films."
Miss Ann named Eadie and because my gram had a very dear friend named Miss Edith, we chose to keep her name just as Miss Ann named her.

Miss Eadie is gorgeous. She's a big girl and looks like a real Airegirl. The best part, like our new pup, is that she's quiet, doesn't eat and doesn't need to go outside in the rain.

I had a push along Airedale when I was a little girl which I loved and had been my Mom's and it was such a shame that my Mom got rid of it when I got older and it was not kept for our Boys. I looked to see if I could get one like it when our Boys were small but could not find one in good condition.
