These pictures were taken on Tuesday after our ice storm. We were so happy to be able to get out and walk once again!
There are icicles hanging all along this fence rail~
The Weeping Cherry tree was so pretty all covered in ice crystals!
We couldn't believe we saw a snowman. It was brutally cold yesterday and there was more ice on the ground than snow. The kids that built this snowman get high praise from us and he's a great looking snowman!
Yesterday we had lots of rain and winds and warm temps for this time of the year and our snow is all gone.
Mom didn't bring the camera on our walk with us this morning and guess who we saw. The llama out for her walk - and her name is Carousel! I got within 8 feets of her but was afraid to get closer. I kept sniffing the Aire from where I was but I wouldn't go near her. She was so calm and her peep was so nice. I hope we get to see her again soon.
Happy Friday, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Molly I do so love the icy weeping willow.
ReplyDeleteIt never fails...you take a walk w/o out camera and boom there magically appears a living breathing walking llama. My word who would ever expect to see a llama on an icy morning. Dang maybe you can eventually giver Carousel a proper how do you do.
Hugs Cecilia
I hope the storms stay away from your area and the winter will disappear soon... you met a llama? that is interesting, we would love to take a walk with such a pet ;O)
ReplyDeleteWe had a bit of that freezing rain too. But then it turned to snow, and snow, and more snow! Stay warm, pup!
ReplyDeleteOne of my collies, *cough*Winter*cough*, does not like llamas...or horses, turkeys, ducks, etc. I wonder what she would do if we took herding sheep! Lol
ReplyDeleteRyder would be fascinated though, hope you get to see her again!
What a fun day. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your snow is all gone...but you and your Mama got in a beautimous walk before it melted!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you get to see Carousel again!

The weeping cherry tree looks so pretty all dressed up in ice!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have a llama that goes for a walk in your neighborhood - that is amazing!!! Hope you two meet again soon.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
There is a llama in the pasture next to where we go for agility practice. It comes close the fence sometimes

Oh, those pictures are beautifuls! Butts, ice is NO funs at all! Snow is one thingie, ice is just dangerous. I'm glads it's safer today gurls!
ReplyDeleteLlama??! PAWSOME! I hopes maybe someday you can meets fur reals!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
That snowman looks like a photoshop one it is so perfect! Sad it rained and melted everything, but the winter wonderland was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAll that ice sure is pretty. We love all those icicles on the fence.
ReplyDeleteWe always love getting snow during the winter, but ice storms are something we don't like to see. Glad you can enjoy a nice walk and see a cool snowman the kids build. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend.

That snowman looks so perfect! The ice can be so pretty, and it looks like it was light enough there it didn't do damage to those trees?
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get to see Carousel again, and that your Mom has her camera too!
Jan & the crew at Wag 'n Woof Pets
that is one great looking snowman and kudos to YOU for walking in these frigid temps!
ReplyDeleteThe snow looks so pretty. And Mom just loves the snowman. She has always wanted to build one. Grandpa helped her make a very small one a very long time ago, but it took every bit of snow in their yard (they had a big yard thank goodness). Mississippi hardly ever gets snow and when they do it barely covers the ground not a nice deep snow like yours.
ReplyDeleteWOW, a llama!!!! That is totally exciting! I would have wanted to lick its nose. That's sort of what I like to do with very large animals -- horses, cows, bulls, and such. Cam and I saw llamas from a distance once, but we didn't get to meet them.
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect snowman - and so big!
Glad you were able to get out on a walk - ice is so nasty!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
A llama?

PeeEssWoo: We trade places constantly as we nap - it's fun to keep The Humans guessing where they will find us - this chair, that chair, the dog bed, behind the khouch, etc etc etc!!!
Charlee: "Wow, everything was looking pretty glassy there for a while!"
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "And that's a nice looking snowman!"
Charlee: "At least, it was. We imagine he's looking a little, uh, melted now ..."
Chaplin: "And of course you didn't have a camera when you saw the llama. Our dada says it always works that way."
Charlee: "Yes, apparently I do my cutest fetch tricks when he doesn't have the camera set up."
Chaplin: "You would think Dada would learn to film all of our play sessions, but he never does!"
Dear Molly,
ReplyDeleteYour world is very pretty now! I am glad you got out for Walk finally. But what is llama?
Licks,
Cobi
Snow and ice....OMD! And A LLAMA! I wouldn't get to close either. To a little Weenie dog, a Llama would look like Godzilla! :)
ReplyDeleteYou sure do make ice look beautiful! And a llama out for a walk?!? I can't wait for a photo someday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely walk and that snowman is amazing. We love the sunshine too. How wonderful to see a Llama walking about. There are farms in this country where you can go on long hikes with Llamas. I don't know what Treacle would think although when we are out walking and she sees horses she stops and wants to talk to them, she really loves them!! Funny dog!! Hugs, Susie xx
