We are joining Rosy and her family today for Nature Friday~
The stream very close to the end of our driveway. The water is still running underneath the ice.
Should I go for a skate on the ice?
I decided that it would be a great idea☺
Right before we got to the duckie pond, a lady stopped her car and dumped a bag of foodables over the fence for the duckies.
That's not boring bread! She's giving them apple cores and all sorts of other yummy looking stuffs!
Do you see it? Over to the very far left behind the tree.
It's a slide for the duckies! What fun!
Too bad this tree isn't on the OTHER side of the fence. The duckies would have a neat spot to hide~
Happy February, everybuddy!
Love ya lots♥
Molly
wow you can start in da next season of stars on ice... you are a skating queen ;O)
ReplyDeleteIce skating. That's such fun! Gail says we could make a pair - a Terrier Torville and Dean. (I'm not sure you'll get that reference, but apparently it means something to people brought up in Nottingham, England).
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie....
Those ducks look like they are doing well. How fun that you got to skate on some ice. We bet those ducks would enjoy hiding in that tree if it was inside their fence.
ReplyDeleteOMD, a duck slide! How fun!
ReplyDeleteLucky duckies for sure....
ReplyDeleteMolly you are such an agile friend...
Hugs Cecilia
What lucky ducks! The ducks and geese around here have finally flown south now that all the ponds are frozen over.
ReplyDeleteDuck slide...great idea. Maybe you could sit at the end and help them off!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you can walk on ice! We are very impressed because our mom can't walk on ice. BOL! It is wonderful that someone is thinking of the ducks during your frigid weather.
ReplyDeleteDon't fall on the ice. Dogs can really be injured on ice just like the humans. I guess the duckies sure get treated well in your neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteThose ducks have got it made! They are almost as spoiled as our chickens. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Molly!
Love, Jan & Luke, Wag 'n Woof Pets
Eeek be careful with that ice!
ReplyDeleteMolly-
ReplyDeleteWe bet the duckies liked that snack. Did you bark at them? We would bark at them...just sayin'
Wyatt and Tegan
How nice of the person to feed the ducks! We are hoping that spring is coming soon

What lovely things to see.
ReplyDeleteMommy saw yesterday our geese are back. They thoughtfully came up to the Hummingbird Cottage so she could see them without leaving the house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great skater you are, Molly! We love seeing the ducks swimming on their pond!
