I just happen to think it's a perfect choice!
Mom finished her book yesterday, smiling through tears and she said that it was one of the best books that she has ever read!
So now we wait to watch the movie - with lots of popcorn - and tissues~
Love ya lots♥
Molly
movie time with popcorn and tissues is a super idea!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad your mom liked the book. Tell her the story line in the book regarding the grandparent's reason for taking the dad to court for custody is a little different and more kid friendly in the movie, so she's have a little mystery left to uncover.
ReplyDeleteMomma is afraid to watch the movie. She doesn't like turning into a blubbering mess around people.
ReplyDeleteThat will be a double cry for your mom. It's a good thing to cry.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day, Miss Molly. My best to your mom. ♥
Our mom wants to see that movie too and she heard you should bring tissues to it.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a book we should read too!
ReplyDeleteGosh that looks like a grrrreat book!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Hailey & Phod are movie watching and have popcorn today ... are y'all in touch with each other ???

ReplyDeleteOh my... tissue territory! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

oh my Mom read that book years ago, it IS a sad one!
ReplyDeleteMom took the grands to see the movie a couple of weeks ago. They all enjoyed it, but Mom says she might have done it differently if she had known how sad it was. But then too, she says it was both sad and comforting all at the same time.

My mom doesn't like reading much, but she did read that book several years ago and said it was great.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very good book. I want to see the movie too. Hope I don't cry too much.
ReplyDeleteLady must reread it as she knows she loved it but can't remember the story.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a book and movie for home...so you don't have to embarrass yourself.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good book for a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteWinter is coming soon.

Hi Molly,
ReplyDeleteThat is a great book and how Enzo got his name! My human read the book many years ago when it first was published and is waiting for the film to get to New Zealand. She might need some tissues too.
Love and woofs from
Riley and Enzo
Hi Molly I am so glad your Mom loved the book but I stay away from those sorts of stories now as they take too much of a toll on me!!!!! Same as the films, in fact I hate anything where there is an animal in a film where there could be an issue I have to know it is okay!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe weather here is getting cooler and definitely getting to the reading in an evening time.
Hugs, Susie xx
glad you could read and watch so I don't have to..... can't take any sadness right now even if it is accompanied by love and joy at some point. Know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteLeeAnna
Wow, I'll have to read it!! Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteMom read that book a long time ago. She borrowed it from the library.
ReplyDeleteWe are happy that your mom liked the book. Now time to cuddle with her when it's movie night in the house. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Love the book - love how families can resolve things and forgive - eventually.
